My booking window opens on Oct 15. Our first cruise was concierge as well but we had a TA and she took care of everything. I recall getting a special concierge phone number and email and our TA submitted our requests by email at midnight. This time around I've gotten no email or phone number or any contact from concierge services. Is there a dedicated email or phone number for concierge? And are they still taking booking requests by email at midnight?

Yes, they are still taking booking requests by email at midnight (12:00:01 to be exact). You should be getting an email from shoreside concierge any day now with more information. I think I got mine the week before my day 125.

Please forgive me for being neurotic, but any reassurance would be great! My email 125 days in advance request was today (October 15 was the 120 day, I had forgotten about 125 days for email requests until your post). I really wish we had a TA, but our previous TA is no longer doing travel. She took care of everything and I did not have this degree of anxiety. She sent the email at 12:01 and we got cabana #15 for both days of our double dip Dream cruise. This time we are hoping for a Grand Cabana so I was concerned I needed to send the email as early as possible. I had the atomic clock going and clicked over to send the email right when the clock turned over to midnight. My computer time still said 11:59 (although the email time stamp was 12:00 am). So I panicked worrying that their clock might be slightly off from the atomic clock and re-sent the email at 12:00:50 with an "I'm sorry I was afraid I sent the first email too soon". Now I'm worrying that sending 2 emails will count against me, I have this vague recollection about someone saying you get bumped to the back of the request line if you send too early or send multiple emails? It's so much pressure being in charge of this for the whole group!

2nd question, will I get a confirmation email today or will it not be until Monday? I looked back at our prior cruise and I got an email confirming my requests about noon the next day, but it wasn't a Sunday and I know the phone lines at least aren't available today.

Thanks so much for all the help!

I don't think sending 2 emails will count against you. If the first one you sent was on time (i.e. not too early), they'll book off of that one. If it was too early, they'll take the 2nd one....and it will just be a question of how many people beat you to it in the 50 seconds after midnight. I don't know that FOR SURE, but I would assume that would be how it would work.

As for getting the confirmation email....my most recent one was a bit later than normal...took a few days to receive...but I was able to go into the MDE on day 119 and see all of my bookings in "my plans".

I did the same thing one time and they told me my first email WAS too early and I would have gone to the back of the line if I hadn’t sent the second one. They used the time stamp of the second email and I got the cabana I wanted—in theory anyway, as this was for a summer 2020 cruise and got cancelled 😞. But rest assure the double email does now count against you and may even help.

Our confirmation email was quite late. I do know that shoreside email response time is longer than usual at the moment (per shoreside concierge team member). If you don't get one right away just give it some time.

I sent our email at 12:01 on 9/19/21. We received the confirmation on 9/22/21 at 2:18 PM. So it may take a few days. Also, there were a few things on our list that were "noted" but would not be confirmed because the tour operator had not updated the schedule yet (including fishing at Castaway Cay).

Got our email for 7/25 Wish cruise. This will be our first concierge sailing. How are you supposed to let them know what tastings to book if you can't see a schedule for available activities until the platinum booking window opens? What am I missing?

All you need to do is reply to the email, or call them, and ask for the schedule for the activities you are interested in. You can also request the list of available dining rotations so you can request one and pick the appropriate day for your specialty dining meals.

My usual questions

Can you provide a list of all the adult tastings offered on this cruise?
Can you let us know the available dining rotations?
Do you know the dress for each night of this cruise? (Formal, Semi-Formal, Cruise casual, Pirate, etc)
Will there be any meet & greets offered, and on which days?
Will there be a character breakfast, and on which days?
Will Palo brunch be available, and on which days?

I have a similar list that I ask.

Also note that when you do send in your requests, if you have a certain night you want to hit Palo (for us that is usually Pirate night) AND you do not want to miss a particular restaurant (as in, you do not want that to be your assigned regular dining on pirate night), you should specify that in your requests.
