You should email the YC IPO (the address is at the beginning of this thread) and tell them that you would like them to book your ADRs. They will email you a packet to complete, where you will list the restaurants, date, time, and number of guests. You then email that back to them. Then you just wait. They do a wonderful job getting all your ADRs. They emailed me early in the morning with my ADRs on my 180 day mark. They were fabulous. I used the BC IPO but it is my understanding that the YC and BC use the same IPO. Good luck!

We are staying BWI club now until Tuesday. My only complaint is that I walked for a bottle of water and was told the only water they have is evian. Seriuosly"? I am paying Amit $599.00 per not and I can't get a bottle of water!! This is our second stay in 6 months and they had water then.

No. The only water they had was large bottles of evian for pouring into small glasses.

Here at YC CL now and they definitely have regular size (the kind that you pay $2.50 for in the parks) bottles of water for us. There are 5 of us, and several times I requested 5 bottles - no problem!

From what people have been saying, it sounds like BC and YC and the only ones that offer that now. People at AK have been saying they don't even have bottled water for pouring into glasses -- just filtered water in pitchers. I'll find out next week!

Hope you're having a great vacation! Has the lounge been crowded?

So is the consensus that YC/BC are the only two CL resorts that have small bottles of water for guests, by-request only? I get frequent questions on my threads about this and don't want to give out incorrect information, but it seems now that the MK resorts, BWI and AKL do not offer the individual bottles, but YC/BC do and it's by-request only?

WL still has the large bottles of water, but it's sparkling water and filtered "in the back" pitchers of water, as psac posted.

Have a great vacation psac! Do you guys have a late spring break?

Good to hear! We will be there in 3 days!!!

What's wrong with Evian water?? I think it tastes great. :confused3 We always keep those large bottles in our room fridge and they are so refreshing and cold after a long park day. :goodvibes Especially since we usually return long after the lounge is closed.

Personally I didn't like how at the BC CL last summer people were loading coolers and backpacks with those small plastic bottled waters and sodas from the concierge lounge. I think that is rude. The point of concierge isn't to serve as a picnic supply station. The food and drinks are to enjoy in the lounge or in your room, or if you want to grab & go in the mornings you can pour water into a styrofoam coffee cup and take it with you.

We have been staying club level at the BW for the past 8 years, at least once a year, and for maybe the past 6 years they have only had the large glass bottles. We are staying at the YC in a few weeks and I am looking forward to having the smaller bottles to take to the pool. That being said, I do not mind the larger bottles either.

Maybe it is just me, but, when people say " I am paying ..... For my room I should get such and such", it shows a sense on entitlement. You got water, maybe not the kind you wanted, but it was provided to you.

WL no longer has Evian water. Only pitchers of water that they filter themselves and a large, bottled sparkling water, which is very tasty.

I need to go on record here and post that we couldn't care less about water brands, etc.. as we drink only tap, even in FL. So as long as it's potable, that works for me.

But, didn't all CLs used to offer small bottles of water then they discontinued them?

I agree with this 100%. I order cases of water for the parks, and enjoy soda, water, and juice from the lounge while at the resort. I don't really want to pay even MORE for CL because they are supplying water for guests to use at the parks.

I agree. We chose CL to get pampered, not as a supply closet. If you can afford CL, you should be able to afford buying water at or for the parks.

Personally, I'm very fussy about my water. (I don't drink beer or soda or coffee.) Just ordered two cases (64 bottles) of Poland Springs (from Maine) to be delivered by Garden Grocer. It costs more than other water ($0.50/bottle) but much less than what's available at the parks ($2.50?). And, for my (snobby?) tastes, Poland Springs is the best in the world! (grin)

I couldn't tell from the menus on the first page, but what are the midday snacks usually like? Particularly at CR/Poly.

No they didn't. I've been staying CL as far back as 1994.
Thanks, I guess it was just some of them that offered bottled water? WL had small bottles a couple of years ago and have since discontinued them. I wonder why YC/BC still have them by-request, but not the other CLs?

YC/BC just started offering them last year.

Thanks! We don't have to worry about school schedules, we're two adults who are kids at heart. :) My wife does budgets and reconciliations so we can't travel from like the 30th through the 5th of every month, or August (when they do the annual budget) but otherwise we're flexible on dates, so we do have the benefit of being able to go on off-peak dates. (My job is totally flexible as long as I do my daily email catch-up).

To keep it somewhat on-topic, this year we're trying two new club levels -- AKL next week and Poly in Sept. Will definitely report on my findings! :)

For the water topic, I guess BC and YC can have the water just like they have hard boiled eggs and the other places (except maybe BWI?) don't. They must have separate management with some power to make choices as to how they run the club levels.
