Does anyone remember if the lounges have to-go coffee cups with lids you can drink though (like Starbucks, et al)? Or if they have these in the room?

I can't remember and though I don't drink coffee these are great for my little one's milk in the morning. (Most hotels have them now but I can't recall if Disney was one of them.)

Or, alternatively, has anyone had any luck getting to-go cups with lids and straws from the lounge? I was planning on getting some chocolate soy milk (his wake-up beverage of choice and, hey, it's vacation) unless, of course, the lounge has some.

I know they offer chocolate Nesquick (or whatever it's called) and I think they said they had soy milk but I don't know if they had flavored soy. (The plain stuff tastes pretty gross.)

I haven't stayed club level (yet...I get there in 64 days) but I do know that various restaurants on property have both the vanilla and chocolate silk boxes with the straw. My oldest is lactose intolerant and we were able to get those for her almost everywhere we ate on both trips. We use the boxes for her school lunches...if you aren't familiar, they are just like the Horizon milk boxes or like juice boxes but nicer. We couln't always get chocolate, but they almost always had vanilla available.

I remember the last time we stayed CL that they had fried cod as an appetizer in the lounge. I was wondering if they still have that?? :)

We've stayed in the center 3rd floor balcony room twice (by chance!) and loved it. It's really not too bad to get to the lounge once you figure out there's a flight of stairs, so you don't have to go all the way back to the elevator...

Great...thanks for that tip! I will remember that if we are on the 3rd floor :)

I don't remember seeing that one, but we didn't stop in each night. I remember crab meat purses, bacon wrapped scallops, lobster salad, spring rolls, spinach/feta puffs and the normal cheeses, crackers, PB&J rolls, olives etc.

Does Disney World still offer guest package delivery to their resort room for club level guests? And, if so, has anyone used the service recently and how long did it take? I know last time we were there we asked about it for our single park purchase and they said it could take "3-4 days" (!!!) to be delivered to the resort, which seems totally ridiculous. We just sent it to package pickup at the front of the park (which, for some reason, takes only 2 hours).

Our stuff showed up in our room the next afternoon for the most part.

BTW, for anyone interested, and to follow up on my previous comments RE: coordinating in-room gifts with IPO and being told to contact Disney Florist. I did speak, several times, with florist and, after not really beig able to do what I wanted (personalized items of my choosing), I contacted Memories by Betsy on forum recommendations. She was VERY responsive and easy to work with and I'm going to use her for our trip next month and will let you know how it turns out.

Hi everyone. Just returned from staying cl at animal kingdom 5 nights and wilderness lodge 5 nights. Had a great time but noticeable difference between the two resorts. WL being far better, ak did not meet us for check in we were left wandering the lobby waiting for some one to take us up to check in, wl met us at the car. The staff were far more attentive at wl, talking to us help us make plans, the food was better at wl. More choice, more of it. It was my sons birthday at ak we had to ask for a badge for him, despite home bouncing into the lounge stating it was his birthday, even then they handed over a badge without even wishing him happy birthday! The closeness to the lounge made a difference, it was quite a hike in ak as we were on the fourth floor at the end of a long corridor, so being on the 7th made it far easier. Ak lounge was always busy, with breakfast time being the worst no seats available. Wl lounge was usually very quiet only a few families with lots of space. I would stay at Wl again in a heart beat, but not Ak (even with a great rate), we stayed there to take part in the safaris which were excellent, so now that we have done that there is no desire to return. Any questions feel free to ask

Just returned from WL and CL was great! We were greeted at the bus and brought right inside, our room was ready at 11:00. They wished my DD a Happy Sweet Sixteen and while we went to the park that afternoon they decorated our room with balloons and sent an adorable chocolate Donald all decorated for her birthday. Food offerings were great theyremembered everything we requested. We couldn't be happier with WL. Can't wait until next year!

She is fabulous! I have used her many times in the past and everything is always perfect! :thumbsup2

I stayed GF RPC in May and they had the styrofoam cups with lids, although I had to ask for them as they were not out ;).

You are allowed to send packages to your resort(staying CL or otherwise) till the day before you check out. We've always done it...except on our day before check out...CL guest get the packages delivered to their room rather than picking up at the resort gift shop
