I know that DVC members use to get free valet parking at DVC Resorts, however that was recently taken away. So is what you were thinking of?

That must be it. Thanks. Too many stays with too many combinations to keep track. No wait. Strike that. Not enough stays to be sure of all those kind of details. Yeah. I'm going with that as my final answer.

No problem and I agree with your final answer.

tonights hot apps in the Innkeepers club were lamb meatballs and cream cheese filled triangles (kind of like crab rangoons). Last nights hot apps were eggrolls and potato filled triangles. Kouzzina seems to be all about the deep fried, filled triangles! :thumbsup2

So at one point it was included in something, and I can not remember what it was. Was it the Dining discount card before TIW? Anyone? This is driving me nuts.

It is the TiW card that valet parking in free.

Those sound great--thanks for the info!! Now, go eat a dessert for me!

Hi everyone!

We were due to go to WDW this August but with the recession we decided to cancel as fares are so expensive from the other side of the Atlantic!

We always and I mean always stay at Port Orleans Riverside as it's the first place we fell in love with on our first family vacation.

I have just got off the phone with Reservations and booked 4 nights CL at AKL. We have never stayed there before but thought it was beautiful when we ate at Boma a few years ago. We are going to Disney for 19 days. Husband thinks we are staying for four nights at POP followed by the rest at POR. Not going to tell him till we arrive as I love giving surprises. Really excited and looking forward to hearing your experiences and recommendations.

Take care

Sarah:thumbsup2

You will LOVE AKL CL!

If you look on the Contemporary FAQ thread you will see that the Atrium Club gets mentioned there more often then on here, so it does have a bigger following then you would think.

CR Resort Fan 4 Life, where is the CR FAQ thread regarding the Atrium Club level?

Just a quick vent...and a vent is all it is. But I am getting tired of being told by BWI/YC/BC IPO every time I ask them to make an ADR for me or see about rescheduling a current one, that I can do it myself by going to disney.com Are you kidding me?! First of all, I'm teaching summer school and tutoring most of the day every day. I don't always have the time to be trolling disney.com But above all, making ADR's is part of their job description...:rolleyes1

Vent away because that's just NOT right. :sad2: What do they think their job is??? Is this one particular IPO CM who keeps pulling this, or are you hearing this from several?

It must be their "new thing" because more than one cm has encouraged me to keep checking online. It just doesn't seem right. Part of staying club level is having someone else do the leg work of getting the ADR's especially now during the crazy free dining time. I'm not even doing free dining and I'm having such a hard time getting ADR's at my restaurants of choice. Just a bummer.. Oh well... I'm still excited about going.

To be fair I do want to add that most of the ADR's I requested they were able to fill, but it has been a few tough ones like Le Cellier and 'Ohana, that they tell me that I can keep checking on myself. It just rubbed me the wrong way, but I'm over it. I don't linger on things too long...

It is very sad but this must be a sign of the times as I too had that happen before I found a great CM that I only use to make my arrangements. Also, on our last trip while we were at the CR CL desk I asked a CM to please check and see if The Wave had any last minute dinner openings, he said we were welcome to walk down there and see:scared1:

Is this still true ? We have TIW and are not aware of this, would be so happy if this is still the case.

From Allears TIW page:

Walt Disney World Resorts - when dining at a Walt Disney World resort, valet parking is complimentary. After dining, present a dining receipt at the valet stand.

Well, that was harsh!
I will say when we were trying to get last minute ADRs in June I called the regular Dining number and they said the system locks them out an hour prior to the ADR time. For example, I was calling at 6 PM. They were showing availability at 6:30 PM but they couldn't reserve it because it was less than an hour away. So they told us to hoof it downstairs becasue if anybody else walked up ahead of us they would get it.

Totally not right--that is one thing they are supposed to do. I would be a bit bothered , as well.
