Does anyone have a copy of the food offerings each day at the GF Sugar Loaf?

Also, do all of the rooms in that building have a balcony?

Thanks! :)

My pleasure. . .you should be hearing from IPO soon.

I did. I was very pleased with the speed Poly IPO replied: a few hours :thumbsup2
They were able to get all but one of my ADR requests.
Gotta' love a good start!
Thanks again for the email address correction.

PamelaKay - the WDE is completely in a van/truck and there is no walking involved. I'm not sure if they have wheelchair/ECV access vans but if they can step up into the van they will then be seated for the entire trip. I would definitely recommend inquiring to specifics if you are unsure.

I actually am going to try it by myself in March. I can ask my questions then about disabled guests. Thanks for the information about the van/truck.

I read this on the first page about tips. NOTE: They can accept gifts of up to $75 value (like candy, doll, etc)."

and my question is, can they accept gift cards for places like Starbucks or restaurants?

Thanks!

I don't know for sure, but I'm hoping someone here can tell us. There are a couple of CMs at IPO that I really want to thank.;):goodvibes

I tried to tip a few different Concierge people and they would not accept. So, I wrote Disney a letter of Commendation about them and their wonderful service.

Though, know that I know they can accept "physical gifts". I think a Starbucks basket or something like that is a super idea.

Hi all,

I hate to ask yet another beverage question on here but here goes. :upsidedow

Do they have root beer in the lounges? If not, can I request some for DS9? :)

TIA!
Karen

I don't remember them having Root Beer. Though that is something you could ask before you travel. They are so helpful!

What are the drink selections at BWI CL? Are they available all day? Are there bottles of water? Sorry, I am sure this has been answered before! Thanks!

emilymad-Yes you can get bottle water for your room. All you need to do is ask. The coffeemaker is available all day. In the morning they have milk, juice, coffee, tea, water out. If you prefer soda, just ask. They have soda out between 11:30-4. During the evening appetizers they have out beer, wine, soda, water. Then during the dessert time, they have out the cofials. If you prefer wine or soda just ask.

I have a dilemma and I wondered if anyone had any input.

We are splitting a stay in December between a MK resort (have Poly booked, hoping for an opening at BLT) and BC CL.

I just realized that our 180 ADR date will happen when we are on another vacation to New England. We'll be in far, far, far northern VT and last time we were there cell phone service was spotty.

Will the IPO make ADRs for only the days we'll be staying CL or is there a chance they would do us a HUGE favor and make all of our ADRs, including the non-CL part? Anyone ever asked this?

Have been wondering the same thing....how do you tip mousekeeping and turndown service?? Does anyone have any creative ideas? :confused3

Does anyone have a copy of the daily activities and CL offerings at the GF? I've seen one for the Poly CL, but I'd like to know what all the GF CL offers. Also what movies they have each night, and actitivities for the kids!

Thanks!

In the past I did an internet search for "mousekeeping envelopes." It took me to a site (or 2) that had great all ready to print designs that work perfectly on standard envelopes (with lots of choices, from Mickey, to Stitch, to the princesses). Worked great and was really easy, too!

Just wondering about the Poly CL rooms, for those of you who have gone recently...
We reserved LV - has anyone had any luck requesting 3rd floor? I'd really like a balcony, but definitely am not going to pay more for a TPV. I don't care if our view is partially blocked - just would like the balcony, if possible. It was so nice sitting out there with a cup of coffee in the morning, or at night with an adult beverage!
Anyone been there lately (since they changed the views to LV & TPV) who can shed a little light on the subject?
Thanks in advance.
Gretchen

No one has answered this so either it's never been asked or it would be terribly gauche to ask. If it is in bad taste, can you let me know? I have no concept whether it is or not ... and I have no idea what the heck we'll do since I wouldn't trust anyone other than an IPO CM to do this correctly. We have some high demand restaurants on our wishlist. :-(

The only time my family and I stayed Club Level at the Polynesian was in December 2007 with a Lagoon View that also happened to have a clear view of Cinderella's Castle. Now as for these recent changes my guess is they took the rooms that had a clear view of Cinderella's Castle like the one my family and I were in which was room #3510 and turned those into the Theme Park Views. So the rooms that were blocking the view would remain as Lagoon Views.

As for getting a room on the 3rd floor with a balcony it's just pure luck and the only thing you can do is make a request, so hopefully it will be able to happen when you arrive.

I have never asked, but I would think the IPO is only allowed to make ADR's for the nights you are taying CL at their particular resort. but you could always just ask?

According to the internet's expert on the Polynesian (I don't think I can say his name here), the only 3rd floor room considered LV is 3518. All other 3rd floor rooms that used to be LV are now classed as TPV (3501-3517).

I am not ready to contact them yet, but if no one turns up here with experience then I will when we get a little closer to June. It seems silly to bother them 10 months before our arrival! Thanks for answering though.

I'm sorry Jennifer, I don't know the answer to your question, since I've never done a split stay.
I'm sure someone will be along shortly with all the info you need!
