Jeez, I wonder how often that will actually get booked. Not by anyone I know, that's for sure!!!

I get the feeling it isn't booked that often.
I'm looking forward to the Sunrise Safari and feel no need to take out a mortgage to go on a private safari

Oh, when I got the second email back the CM mentioned ordering anything special through the Disney Florist. I was not aware the they would get persoanlized ears, autograph books, etc. for guests. I thought it was just room celebrations and flowers

My question is... how do I know what Club Level floor I am located on? I think/assume we are in a standard room on the 12th floor club, but it doesn't really say that on the reservation.

Our reservation says "CONTEMPORARY-STANDARD-CLUB". Am I correct in assuming that will be part of the 12th floor tower club?

12th floor is Atrium Club Level and I think the 14th floor is Tower Club Level.
The Atrium Club Level is great. Do you have a MK or Bay Lake view booked? I'm wondering if Standard means Bay Lake

As long as they have your CC #, they can get you just about anything you want!

I believe the IPO's are getting away from the personal shopping of years past (although AFAIK, AKL was still doing it ). Perhaps Disney has had enough requests/complaints that the Disney Florist is expanding it's inventory.

We ordered two sets of personalized ears and an autograph book through the Disney Florist when we went last year. They came out great and they cost the same as they were charging in the park at that time. The only extra charge was for wrapping it all together and the delivery fee, which wasn't too high (I want to say $7).

Hopefully any problems they might have had in the past (slow response times, for one) have long since been corrected.

We're staying GF CL the week after Thanksgiving and all my dealings with the IPO have been great. I didn't realize the services they offered until after I made my ADRs (or should I say my TA made them for me). There were some ADRs I wanted to change after the park hours came out and they have been working on that for me. They also got me reservations for BBB and The Wildlife Discovery Safari. One of them told me she would compile my whole itinerary and send it to me, including the ressies I made on my own.

I don't have anything to compare it to, but I think they are awesome!

Your room will be located on the 12th floor and you will be getting the Bay Lake View.

We were on a pontoon boat and we had the BEST time!! Although we'd seen IllumiNations many times before, we'd never seen it from a better vantage point, plus Captain Mike asked us if we wanted his narration during the show (heck YES!) and that alone was worth the price of admission!! We shared with 2 awesome families we met here on the Dis! (the people on Breathless that night were having lots of fun too! )

We haven't done a Wishes cruise yet, but that's on our short list!

Holy Crap, I did it!!! I called last night and booked 2 rooms at the Contemporary, MK view Concierge. So much for DH's thought that we keep this trip cheap and stay at Shades of Green! LOL I booked with AAA discount, but still hoping they come out with the great 40% discounts of last January. I just want our Welcome Home trip to be special for DH and our friend who are returning from Iraq.

My question, what do I do next? Will the IPO contact me or do I need to contact them? Our ADR booking window opens on Oct 23. Also I want to book the Illuminations Cruise for my DD's brthday. Does that also open up at the 90+10 or is that only 90 days? Kind of hoping it is only the 90 days as I'm sure we will have no chance at it!

You have your reservation #'s? Contact the IPO right away!! Give them your dates and let them know you want to book the IllumiNations Cruise. Oct 27th, everything changes (back to 180 days) so you want to make sure all your ADRs are in place as soon as possible! (at least for those hard-to-get bookings)

The IPO will need your CC# to book the Cruise (won't be charged yet; just needed for guarantee) so you'll need to speak with them by phone to give them the CC#.

I would send the email, make sure you get the automated email so you'll know your email went through; then give it a day and if you don't hear back from them, I'd suggest calling them. All the information you need is on Page 1 of this thread.

Please post back and let us know how your contact with the IPO goes! HAPPY PLANNING!!!

Yay for booking! I would contact IPO immediately, no need to wait for them. Make sure you give them alternate plans, in case your first choice isn't available. That really helped them get everything I wanted (alot of character meals). I can't help you with the CR (we stayed at the Poly), but I can tell you about the Illuminations cruise. Yes, IPO will book it for you and they can book it 90+10. I was sure we wouldn't get one either, but it was no problem, so don't worry. The cruise was the best thing I planned - we had Captain Ron - he was a blast. Are you ordering a cake for your DD? We got one, it was delicious!

MK view from the CR is just spectacular. And the Atrium Club lounge is fantastic.
