Concierge/Club Level Information - Part II (Sept 2009)

I was finally able to get it yesterday! Yay! Seven nights, deluxe club level, BWI. I was so excited when the cm said she could do all seven nights, since it wasn't showing as available to book online. Now I can stop having to look at either moving rooms for the last night, or going home early. Persistance or should I say, obsession, pays off!

Just booked BWI Deluxe Room- Club Level for January 3-10!!
We just got back a few weeks ago, but already cannot wait to go back! We are going to surprise DD8 with this at Christmas!

I have been to WDW during that time and usually the crowds are good since Christmas and New Years would have just ended, so they all end up going home. As for the weather that's always going to be a wild card during that time because it can be very good at times, however it can also be very cold at sometimes like this past Janurary.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I am guessing crowds won't be that bad. We get there on the Monday the 3rd, right after New Year's, so I'm guessing many will go home Sunday the 2nd.
I heard this January was very cold. Hopefully this winter won't be bad
You will have to give us a report when you get back from the BWI CL and CR CL. I have never stayed at the CR (I hope to someday) but I hope you love the BWI CL as much as we do!

I am just wondering does the lounge at the Boardwalk offers Sprite Zero with all their other drinks because my mom likes to drink it. If they don't have it then it's not going to be a problem because we can take some cans of it from the Contemporary lounge since I know they have it there, although if the Boardwalk did offer it then we wouldn't need to worry about taking them from the Contemporary.

I don't know about coke zero but I requested caffeine free diet coke from the BWI CMs 3 days before I arrived (I spoke to them directly, not through IPO) and there were 12 cans waiting in my room fridge for me

No we don't. We just like to take the drinks from the lounges when going to the various resort counter service locations, so this way we will always have something to drink.

emmabelle-yes there will be chocolate. Chocolate covered strawberries are the bomb! The brownies are so rich you almost need a glass of milk instead of wine to wash them down I think you will be happy. You have picked a great resort. The deluxe room is so nice with the extra room. You will love the staff. Fun all around!

Awesome! That's what I drink too - I get headaches from caffeine. Did you just call the front desk or the concierge desk or somewhere else? We're at the Poly, so hopefully they'll be able to accomodate me there

Congratulations!!! I still can't find it for all of my dates and I really don't think my DH could handle moving. I could get 7/19 to 7/22 & 7/24-7/25 but not 7/18, 7/23, or 7/26. I'll keep looking.

I think we'll be fine in the standard room with the ages of my kids but those deluxe rooms do look nice!

I don't remember a lot of chocolate but they had some very nice other things too. They had this raspberry moose thing that was out of this world and I'm a chocolate gal too.

I've been twice for my DS's birthday 1/10. In 2004 it was COLD-in the 30s at night. In 2008 it was the best weather of any trip ever. Low 80's, no humidity, blue skys...perfect. I don't even remember ever needing a jacket at night. I also went this Jan for DD's bday 1/21-I think it was the warmest week of the winter but we still had a few chilly nights. We were able to swim one day in the low 80s. I also went in late Jan 09 and again we had some days in the 80's and some nights in the 30s. Crowds have always been very managable!

I get horrible headaches too, plus the caffeine interacts with some of my medications and I get a racing heart, so I keep well clear.

I called the CMs at the InnKeepers Club (BWI), as you're at the Poly give the CMs a call in the CL building

Don't forget the phones in the Club Level rooms all have icons on them and one of them says the name of your Club Level floor, so that's how you know that your calling their desk and not some call center when you call the resort. Although if there was ever anything we needed then we would just speak to the Cast Members at their desk instead of calling from our room.

Having to move rooms would be icky to say the least. It seems that you'd not have a hotel room for part of the day? IDK, just glad not have to deal with that! I can't wait to go! I'm sure we'll see each other in the Innkeeper's club.
