ugh, JMHO, but doughnuts at a CL are so passé. Remember, JMHO.

And it looks like WDW is trying to move into more "healthy" options!

The PP above nailed the typical WDW morning offerings. :
We just returned from the WL CL and they had three types of bagels each morning as well as three types of muffins and two types of danishes.
(as well as the other typical CL spread).

You know, after looking at my 14th floor Tower Club pics, I cannot find a doughnut. Not one. Wierd.

I've never had a doughnut at Polynesian CL either--at least not in the last 15 years anyway. . .LOL It has always been Danish of some sort.

The only doughnuts I remember seeing in a CL was at the Dolphin CL and maybe at the BC CL a long time ago. I need to go back and look at my pics and stuff. But never at the Poly, GF, WL, BWI, AKL, and the CR.

It is a very nice CL with great CMs and an excellent IPO.
You haven't made a mistake. In fact, if I wasn't taking mom to GF RPC, I'd be taking her to the BC or YC CL.

We really like BC CL. The cms are very friendly and helpful. They just expanded the CL lounge so now it shouldn't be as crowded. We were happy with all the offerings. We mainly use the CL lounge for a quick breakfast before hitting the parks and some appetizers and wine before heading out to a later dinner. I don't think you'll be disappointed. We'll be there in July and I'll report back!

Just returned Sunday from CL Beach Club and am still sad at how disappointing it was (and we have done CL there before). I think they should rename it the "Snack Floor" instead of Concierge.

If you want greasy treats, the time of day to hit the lounge is the afternoon. Particularly - I would say - at BC. Some things were very tasty, but how many bacon wrapped scallops can a person eat? When they are accompanied by housemade kettle-style potato chips, and cheese trays?

We've stayed at BC CL twice and YC CL once. Both were very nice and we can't wait to go back!

Sorry CR Fan - no donuts at Poly. They only had cinnamon danish, bread and bagels. BWI and AKL had a few kinds of danish and muffins, but not at Poly. I was bummed.

I guess after so many Club Level stays at the Contemporary I assumed they also had the Krispy Kreme Donuts at the Polynesian so my mistake.

When we were set to return to BC CL in August 2009, we were telephoned two days before our arrival and told that, due to the lounge expansion, we would need to move to another resort. We were offered a two-bedroom suite at Innkeeper's Club. It was really an amazing suite and we loved it.

However, we were disappointed to find that they served no Krispy Kremes at Innkeeper's Club. Pastries, yes, but they tended toward dry and tasteless. No muffins at Innkeeper's Club, either, not even mini ones.

Now, we're set to return to BC CL in August -- and I read on these boards that the Krispy Kremes are gone from BC CL now.

No bottled water for years, now no Krispy Kremes. All I can say is CL at WDW just keeps deteriorating, sad to say.

The Contemporary has mini bottles of Disani that they keep in the back and you can always ask a Cast Member for them. So not everything about Club Level offerings is deterioating.

I guess I must be in the minority - I'm glad they got rid of the Krispy Kremes. Last thing the kids need in the morning is a sugar rush! I'd much rather they eat the fruit, bagels, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs!

I would be annoyed if Krispy Kremes showed up on a breakfast buffet. Just seems so cheap or something. I want the GOOD stuff - fresh fruit, granola. Take that away and throw in some old donuts and I would feel that is going down hill...We have a Krispy Kreme about 2 miles away from my front door and there is never a car in the lot...I thought they were a poor imitation of Dunkin Donuts but maybe they aren't nationwide and that is why people like them at WDW? I don't know?

Saw them at theYC before renovation but did not see them at WL last November. They are good when fresh but very greasy and give me heartburn! I liked the yogurt and bagels and pastries better

Totally opposite opinion here! IMHO Dunkin Donuts are gross! We love Krispy Kreme!! They are not avialable everywhere, there used to be a few in the Chicago area but now there is only 1 so I'd love to find Krispy Kreme doughnuts on the CL buffet.

We live not to far away from Krispy Kreme headquarters (Winston-Salem NC) and I have eaten them since I can remember. I love them, but they do not love me (very fattening ) I think they have some new whole wheat options, have not tried them yet. I do not like Dunkin Donuts as well as I do KK, just what you are used to I guess.

I also try to have real food options for breakfast, but on vacation it is our time to splurge a little, so I let the kids eat what they want within reason They do tend to go for the more sugary foods if I let them.

I agree, I don't care for Dunkin Donuts at all. But, love Krispy Kreme. They are the best, best when you get them from one of their stores and they are hot right from the fryer. I'll only stop at the store in Fort Lauderdale when the "Hot Now" light is on! Heaven!
