Conch Key to Monorail

For anyone who has stayed in Conch Key - or any other of the GF Buildings that have an MK view - what kind of a walk is it to/from the monorail?

A couple minutes maybe? With small kids, maybe 5 minutes max. All of the buildings are quite convenient to the main building in terms of distance. Conch Key is great b/c it is a skip to the boat dock. On the way back from the MK, just take the boat. The Gf is the first resort stop coming from the MK.

conch key is a great location for the big older pool, narcooses, and the boat dock. as for the monorail and main building, i would agree with misti, it is about 5 minutes. it seemed longer in the rain though just got back! but we loved conch key. we thought that our room was nicer than we've had in other buildings in the past. our friends agreed and said they liked the room even better than their lodge concierge room.

My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 1st anniversary at Conch Key yesterday--your walk will not be long from the lobby, between 3 - 5 minutes.

It seemed to me like it was a longer walk to get the valet to bring up our car.

For those of you just back from Conch Key, did any of you have MK lagoon views? I'd love to know the rooms numbers if you did. Thanks.

Just call the valet from your room as you are leaving to pull your car around and it will be there waiting for you.

Just so you know, the valet manager will point out/mention who brought your car around (hinting for the tip). Just give the manager the tip and you can be on your way with no wait and no hassle.

We just returned from the Grand Floridian Dec 8 - we stayed in Conch Key and LOVED it!!! From our room, #7217, we could see the water and the monorail go by, and from the balcony, we could see the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom (we couldn't actually see any of the MK).

It was a great location for us! Enjoy!!
