Has anyone seen concerts at House of Blues?

First, sorry if I posted this is the wrong area. I didn't think this would fall under the restaraunt catagory because I am not referring to the food part.

This is a question for me, but possibly a FYI for those who are interested.

The last time I saw a concert at WDW was years ago - Travis Tritt played at Pleasure Island. It was a free outdoor concert on the West End Stage near the Neon Armadillo!! Granted I love him & his music, but he did put on one heck of a concert. :D :lovestruc :cloud9: Not to mention, HOB wasn't around then!

Anyway, The night we have PS's for ( 9/1 planned waay before I learned about the HOB website) is the night Little River Band will be performing there. Is that a place that we could be tickets at the door if we opted to see them? The ticket prices aren't all that bad ($15.00). Are these "full length" concerts or for this price just a few songs. How is that as a concert venue? Is it a big "room" or just your average sized restaraunt function room? How are the acoustics? What is the seating like? Is there "dancing room"?

They do seem to have quite a mix when it comes to their line-up of performers!

HOB concerts & events

Two years ago we saw Peter Frampton at HOB. I was very excited about this, prices were reasonable, and I thought it would be a fun thing to do. I do not like the HOB venue. There is extremely limited seating, you can't bring any bags in, DH had to trek to other side of Downtown for lockers to check camera (HOB wouldn't keep them at desk), and we stood for about two hours to hear Frampton. He did a nice concert, but standing in shoulder to shoulder people for two hours was really tough. You just couldn't move, and my feet really hurt a lot!
