Okay, wise DIS community….we have just found out that Kenny Chesney and Billy Currington are coming to the Cumberland County Civic Center on April 7th. They have not released any ticket sale info yet.

My question to you all is: how do you usually buy your concert tics? Wait until they go on sale to the general public and hope for the best? Do you look for ticket pre-sale codes? Use a ticket broker??

My Mom and I really want to go to this show. The last tics I bought for us came through a broker and I paid WAY too much for them…..but it was Tim McGraw and the eye candy was worth it.

HELP !!!

For 'hot' tickets I first look for a presale that I'm eligible for. If I can't find one, then I will order online. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes not. Be sure you're online well before the time it starts and that you are on a faster computer.

You could also check here http://www.ticketmaster.com/h/retaillocations.html
and see if there is a location local to you. Call and see if they'll be selling them for this event. You might go wait in line there if they are and ALSO have someone trying to access them online.

The kenny experience is priceless. We always order online thru ticketmaster - try your local country station website to see if they spoonsor a pre-sale.

We are seeing kenny and the boys on Aug. 20th and cant wait! HAVE FUN!

Register for an account with Ticketmaster. There is an area to add information in "My Preferences" Add artists and events that you are interested in as well as your local venue. I have gotten several venue presale codes this way. Last week I got 6th row Sugarland tickets using a presale code it sent me. I would also sign up for local radio station email blasts or listener clubs. They usually send out codes too. Good luck!!

Here's what I do, and in this order:
  1. Search for Pre-Sale
  2. Try Ticketmaster right when they go onsale (be pre-loggedin)
  3. Last resort, try secondary market (stubhub, craigslist, etc.)
