I'd go to Disneyland.com and click on the "Hours and Show Schedules". Plug in the dates you'll be there and you'll get all of the info on what's available (and not) during your stay.
I don't recall seeing any real big names when I looked. We're going on the 4th, too. Hope you enjoy your trip!
