I made an appointment for dh with his doctor to talk about his headaches ( theyve been getting really bad again :( ) but while I was on the phone I made mention to the nurse another issue I would like the Doctor to address. I made it a point to say to her " I know he isnt going to say this but I really need it addressed, Im sure you can understand the need for discretion here, right?" she agreed fully and said she would handle it.

Well I havent heard how it went it yet, but is that being really sneaky? Or is it just showing concern? I know dh wouldnt say anything about it but I also know its something he needs to talk to doctor about.

Am I bad wife for going behind his back? :(

Binny, I went with my dh to the doctor today....I didn't give him an option, I wanted to know what was going on and also address his smoking habits. DH was actually happy that I went!

Both. But if you didn't think it was neccessary you wouldn't have resorted to it.

I think you did the right thing. It's hard for men to talk about things with doctors sometimes. I guess they are supposed to be strong & silent.

After years of suffering really bad heartburn, my DH finally went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago. He always said "I don't want to run to the doctor with every little thing." I wish I had done what you did for your hubby. It might have saved him years of pain.
