Conception one year post tubal ligation?

Sorry if this is TMI- but I am getting a little worked up here. I am 37 and have 3 kids: 9, 6, and 1. I had the "bonus baby" last September and had a tubal ligation during my c-section. My pregnancies are horrible-I am very sick the whole time and each one just got worse. I am now 4 days late and really worried because I am VERY regular- the only time I have ever been late is when I have been pregnant.

I have looked up info on the internet and most people whose tubes reconnect usually have a longer time frame post surgery. Also many pregnancies are ectopic, so I know I need to get a test soon- just can't get to the store this morning.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I don't have experience with this but I have to say. First relax & how old are you? For me when in the winter when it first starts to get cold I start a little later. And

I'm 37. My cycle never changes with the seasons, but I know my panic is making it worse. Thanks!

I've always had a VERY easy time getting pregnant (unprotected sex 4 times - see my siggy), and when I was 37, I missed for 3 months (before that, I was every 28 days on the dot). I took many HPT's, even though I had a tubal. I think it was (and is - I'm 43) perimenapause (sp), because I haven't been regular since (it's now been 6 months). Get a test - I still have one hanging around!

I have had this experience. In 2004 had my tubes tied, youngest DS was 9 months old. In 2008, was late, I'm never late. Took 4 preg. tests at home because I did not believe the first 3. Yep, pregnant. Started having horrible pain a week later. It was a tubal pregnancy and I had surgery to remove that tube and burn the other. It was a hard because my emotions were all over the place. I really did not want to be pregnant, but the thought of losing another baby was really hard.

Well, I guess that could be my case, too. I have always been very regular and fertile except when we were trying for our first. After that I was pregnant every time I was unprotected.

I am sorry you had this experience- it is actually my greatest fear. If I did get pregnant, I would hope to carry to term because I would be an emotional wreck. Our last baby was not planned and I wouldn't change it for the world- so even though I DO NOT want to be pregnant now, I would come to accept and embrace another child. My pregnancies are awful and that is really why we thought we would stop at 2. I have hyperemisis and it has gotten progressively worse with each pregnancy. We had always wanted 4 kids, so the thought of having 4 isn't as awful as the thought of being pregnant to me. Thanks for sharing your experience- I'm sure it was really difficult.
