if you are cruising conceirge 2 ppl, do you normally get paired with another couple at dinner? Not shy or anything, just we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary and first trip without kids in 3 years so may want a private table.
Thanks!
You should bet your own table but to be sure, just contact shoreside concierge and let them know. They will take care of it.
Unless you request to be seated with others, you will have your own table due to being in concierge.
We got our own table in December on the Fantasy.
In your cabin dining from MDR menu selections is a concierge option that DW and I use to the max. If you would like a "private dining experience," in cabin is it.
Note this is only available in the suites - cat V will not have the option (there is no dining table in the smaller rooms they can use).

Minor thread hijacking incoming...but this question made me wonder about my own upcoming trip (1-bedroom Concierge on the Dream).
Can someone give some details on the in-room dining process when you order off the MDR menu? We're thinking about doing this one night and I kind of want to know what to expect. The main thing I'm curious about is how the presentation (or delivery? not sure what to call it...) is handled. Like...do they bring the whole meal at once, or course-by-course? Are the servers frequently present or is it more like a "fancier" version of room service where they drop off the food and you're left to your own devices?
You will order your MDR food directly with the concierge in the lounge. They will have the menus in the lounge for you to read and select from. The normal practice is that everyone in your suite orders from the same menu, but there are others who have stated they were able to mix. Mixing of MDR menus has not been something that we have experienced.
The concierge will give you a selection of times to choose from for dinner service to start. Be prepared that you will need to keep the table cleared so that the table linens can be placed before service begins. The server or servers, will arrive, prop open your door, and begin to place the food selections. Most servers ask if you wish to be served by course or if you prefer everything set-up at once. You can express which way you prefer your service. We have received a phone call from the server before they arrive to begin service.
