Anybody out there able to help me, please???

I was going thru some old software CD-Roms
and loaded one to see what it was.
It's factory issued from IBM so no virus or
anything, but it messed up my system!
I'm (still) running WIN98 on my HP Pavilion,
and it reconfigured my desktop, and when I
got that straightened out I came online
and now my homepage (My Yahoo) is
too big for the monitor screen.

I'm a bear of very little brain,
and cannot recall how to find and fix
the settings...

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Right click on your desktop and select properties, or go to control panel>display, click the tab for settings and see if you can adjust your screen resolution to 1024x768.

Happy to help!

DH was looking over my shoulder, asking why I was looking at that screen (making sure I had the right steps). He thinks I don't know my way about the computer. Ha! :p

"He thinks I don't know my way about the computer. Ha!"

Looks like maybe we helped each other out ;)

Have a great night!
