Computer game technical question-HELP!

I am trying to play the DIsney racing game on our computer. The computer is 1 year old and has Windows XP. When we go to play the game it says we do not meet the minimum requirements and need Windows 95, 98, or 98SE.

When I click play it anyway I get no picture and it makes weird noises. Is there something I can dowload to play this game? DD really wants to play it.

It sounds like the disc is skipping.

Some older progams won't play on XP. I have an old game of Monopoly and it won't play on Windows XP.

Now it's saying I need a 4x CD drive ??? Who knows. I am just frustrated with the whole thing!

If you go to "Start" "All Programs" "Accessories" and then "Program Compatibility Wizard", this will help to configure older windows programs to run on Windows XP.
