computer cable?

Has anyone had difficulty in not finding the internet cable in the closet. If so, has Mousekeeping replaced it. DW was told yessterday that some guests? take them and they are not being replaced.

If it's not there, call Mousekeeping and they will bring you one. You might want to bring your own anyway, since the ones they supply are not that long (someone posted 4 feet recently -- I didn't even think they were that long). We used to bring our own 15' cable.

Another idea. If you have wireless, bring an access point and plug it into the outlet and roam about the room.

We bring our own wireless router and it works great!!

We didn't have a problem finding it recently during our OKW stay......once they told us it was in the closet!

Never did get it to work though. I even purchased another cable while I was out one day and tried it just in case, but still didn't work. When I would try to establish a connection it would always come back and say DSL/Broadband connection not available. I even tried resetting the box on the wall but nothing. I started to call it in but didn't want to have to deal with timing them showing up to check it. We just used dial-up which was no biggie since that is all we can get at home so we are used to it.

We've never had a problem finding it at any of the DVC resorts we've stayed at - OKW, SSR, BCV, BWV & VWL.
