Comprehesive Map of WDW - resturants, hotels, parks?

I am trying to plan our days a little, with possible eating places. But having no idea WHERE anything is located makes it harder. I have no idea if our Chef Mickey meal will be closer to Epcot or Animal Kingdom, if we should Magic Kingdom or MGM on the night of our PS for Whispering Canyon.

I need a comprehensive map that shows this. I have a list of which hotels/parks the resturants are in, but means nothing to me. Very visual learner here. LOL. So, can anyone point me in the direction of a good - to scale - map. I think we have determined that we will rent a car while down there, so we don't have to rely on the park busses to get us everywhere, but still would not like to drive half way round the world (ha, that's a pun ain't it?) to get to dinner.

We are doing the dining plan, so we have to stick to somewhat specific resturants, not play it totally by ear (another pun! And I am not even trying).

Don't know of one all encompassing map, but there are maps of all the parks here and resorts here

Hi, I'm not sure if this info is what you need, but...Chef Mickeys is in the Contemporary resort, which is on the monorail, to get to your PS at Chef Micky's you could take the monorail, or if you were at the Magic Kingdom you can even walk, from Epcot you could take a bus to the resort, or the monorail; from MGM, a bus.

Whispering Canyon is in the Wilderness Lodge, a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom.

what is this passporter 2005? Would the unofficial guide have this info?

The Passporter is another guidebook. It has detailed info on the resorts, parks, restaurants, etc, as well as trip planning pages with "pockets" for putting things, and fold out maps of all of the parks. I don't know if the Unofficial guide has the info on transportation but there is a website with a transportation wizard, not sure how accurate the times are, you enter a starting location and an end location and it shows your options, here is the web address http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/asp/twiz.asp
