Complimentary Aulani Souvenir!

I just noticed this in our quarterly DVC magazine, Disney Files. Seems like a complimentary 8 x 10 art print of Aulani will “magically appear“ in all Aulani accommodations, set to debut in “early 23.” Frankly, I like this better than the much missed lei. It’s nicely done and something we can actually keep and take home. Granted, it’s no budget buster for Disney, but I still appreciate it!

When we were there they had a welcome gift - an 8” x 10” art print. You had to go down to the DVC sales area off of the main lobby. I can’t remember if it was for the Aulani first timers or?

They also had the housekeeping pin.

Seems like the pandemic was Aulani’s excuse to cheap out on a lot of the extras forever.

I’m here right now and frankly I don’t think the experience has been diminished. Those extras everyone misses weren’t particularly significant to me.

Maybe it’s different when you own dvc and go there a lot. But, for me, this will probably be a once-in-a-lifetime trip. I was really looking forward to a traditional Hawaiian greeting including a lei.

Aulani experts- where do you suggest we order our leis from? I imagine we can get them delivered to the hotel, correct?

You could try calling them and see if for an extra cost they could arrange something for you.

You can get them at the airport they have a row of lei stands

They sent us over to the DVC preview room for it. I will ask if it’s only for blue card holders (we are). It sounded like it may be a new thing.
