Complicated Ticket linking question

I really hope someone may have encountered this same complicated situation before...:wave2::thumbsup2

We are travelling to WDW this Christmas, arriving on Thursday, December 13 (going to MVMCP!!), staying at Art of Animation for one night, then doing the 7-night Fantasy Eastern Caribbean cruise. We will then be staying at Beach Club Villas for 8 nights (we rented points through David), then, because of flight issues, we are staying one night at Coronado Springs before flying home...whew!

We called to order our tickets this afternoon to try to beat the price increase and kind of got the "run around" about the ability to link the two stays (BCV and Coronado).

Now for the question...how do we make sure that our park tickets are linked to our BCV reservation so that if Fastpass+ goes ahead, we will be able to do advanced reservations? WDW ticketing says we have to go through DVC ticketing and DVC ticketing says we have to go through WDW ticketing. It's soooooo confusing!!:confused3

I've never heard of linking tickets to a DVC reservation. DVC members normally just buy tickets elsewhere separately from their room from all the posts I have read here over the years. (And my own personal trips).

As for linking your BCV and Coronado springs stays, that is not possible. Linking stays only happens within the same resort for consecutive days (and there are other limitations as well at least for DVC reservations relative to room types, etc.). I didn't even know that DVC member services sold park tickets. I thought they only handled AP or AP vouchers.

Edited: I did think of one thing later. You say you are renting that reservation. DVC member services will not speak with anyone but the owner of the reservation. So if they are telling you to speak with Disney ticketing, that is probably why. But if you asked Disney Ticketing about something related to a DVC stay, their first response is probably going to be to send you to Member Services. That doesn't answer your original question, but might explain some of the confusion about who to speak with.

Thanks for your thoughts, Vicki! I guess we'll just have to wait and see and keep talking to the CMs.
