We are a party of 6-4 in one room, 2 in another. My parents are the 2. So, could we buy dining plan for my parents for the 6 days,...so their card would show 12 TS. Then one night, all 6 of us, go out to a TS, and we would use 6 of the TSs on her card to pay? Does that work?? Thanks for all the input on these boards!! There are so many situations to consider and things are so expensive these days at Disney, IMO! thanks, Michelle

I don't think so. I think your parents KTTW card would say 2 adults on it and thus they would know that all 6 of you didn't have the dining plan.

I guess its possible that they wouldn't check the card but then again the system may have the same information and not let it go through.

Only the number of people listed on the card can use the dining credits. Sharing of dining credits is not allowed.

This is against Disney rules. Disney states that you are not allowed to use DP credits for those not on the dining plan. The card will state how many people are in the room and on the plan. They will not allow you to use more credits then that at a meal.

No, Disney does not allow sharing of dining credits between rooms. If the card says 2 adults, they can order 2 meals at a time and pay with the plan, they won't be able to order 6 meals to distribute among a party on a different room reservation.
