Wow, I must say this thread has opened my eyes! To each their own, as they say. Although I would never in a million years stay off site again (Contrary to popular belief, I have, in fact ), I see here that others feel as strongly about staying offsite as I do about staying on. I'll admit, I don't get it, but I respect it. Call me crazy, but I kind of like the whole family squeezing into one hotel room, puppy huggle, togetherness stuff. It's cozy. Whatever you decide, have an amazing vacation!

May I promote the Wilderness Cabins one more time? Good call, by the way!

I have researched vrbo.com and found condos at windsor hills then asked where each was located in relation to the pool. We had a beautiful condo overlooking the pool, 3 bedroom, 2bath, full kitchen, washer and dryer. I will never go back to hotel living. Now we can afford to stay longer and it is more relaxing with everyone having a bit more space for down time. The pool at windsor hills is gorgeous with a waterslide. This year we are renting a home in davenport with its own pool as we are travelling with my sister and her family. I know it seems overwhelming when you do all the research but I just picked out a few favorites then looked at avail and price and how well the communication with the owner is. Good luck!!

I also recommend Cypress Pointe. We will be staying there on our upcoming trip and this will be our second time there. We were in a 3 bedroom unit last time and it had lots of space. The volcano pool was a big hit with my daughter!! The resort is also very close to the parks. We go as a timeshare exchange and have tried out several different timeshares in the area. Cypress Pointe and Orange Lake have been our favorites.
