So my wife and I were completely disappointed to see the new rates for 2012 for the dining plan.
My wife and I usually go for free dining in Aug/Sept...well, we are reconsidering what we are going to do because of the huge difference in the price between quick service and regular dining plans.
For the last several years, it's been $10-$11/day per person to upgrade to the regular dining plan from the quick service dining plan...now, they are asking $16/day per person???????? What??? That means I would be paying $32/day (plus tip) for my "free" dining? It's ridiculous!
Yeah....not such a great deal, especially when you get no discounts on room rates...and the quick service dining plan (for the value resorts which is where we usually stay) is not that great, especially when you've been spoiled with the regular dining plan for so long (c'mon, many of you know what I'm talking about).
Anyways, had to vent....anyone else feel this way too? Share your thoughts

. But in the I did add it to our package because we're doing a bunch of fixed price meals (Biergarten, 'Ohana, Akershus, etc.) and so it made sense. Most of the savings I think comes from what we save on DD, who is still at the kid rate.
