Susie - you don't have to make a title. If you make generic items that can be used for outdoor/backyard stuff (no pine trees because that always makes me think of hiking/camping stuff) like deciduous trees, flowers, grass, blue skies; then no title is needed.

morning ladies!
i'm trying to put together my picnic groups and i have this really cool paper but it would make my mat bigger than the 4 1/2 x 6 1/2. is that ok? i'm going to post a pic of it so you can see what i mean. i just want it bigger so you can see the hot dog on the bottom. it has ant brads on the corner as well. i have not put it on yet but you can see it in the pic. sorry for the quality of the pic but it's taken with my phone. it's 6 1/2 tall x 6 1/4 wide. ( i think!)
let me know what you think. i made a j.box and a library pocket to go with it.

would it be better if i made the red mat on top of the checked paper so just the hotdog is shown on the bottom? i just can't seem to get it straight in my head!

Nope, leave it like it is. This way if someone wants to use the xacto to cut around the hot dog to slide the photo under it, they can.

there's plenty of room to put the photo on top of the checked paper with the hot dog showing. it's bigger than the 4x6 specs. that's what's worrying me. i went back and looked at micksters dance mats and i guess that's what i was thinking in my head. and i see that she has a double mat on top of her dance paper with that paper bigger than the mats. it's that how it's supposed to be? i think it's post #404??? maybe.

Okay, I see now what you are talking about.

That would look really cute with your paper. Cut a 4-1/4x6-1/4 and place it on top and see. If you like it, go for it.

I'm working on mine today (as soon as a cool down, it's at least 104 degrees in here today - okay, that's a *slight* exaggeration, but it's really hot and I'm just icky sticky!

it is warm here too! but i wanted to get rollin' and get it in the mail this week.
but.......

i want to go bury my head in the sand because everything i try does not look right.

i have now double matted it on top of the gingham paper leaving the hot dog on the bottom.

so here's what i ended up with. it's a mat, jb, and library pocket and tag. i hope they all look ok. once again sorry for the quality, but my computer is acting up and i'm taking the pics with my phone. let me know if there is something else i need for this group. i'm off to buy more hotdog paper because i've messed up so many times, that now i don't have enough!!!!

jb with a watermelon in the corner with an ant brad on top of it!

I love them! I wish I was in that group.

I got my GS group done. Not all that thrilled with my title. The yellow frame can go either way (actually, so can the green one, you'll just need to turn the brad). Everyone will also get 2 more s'mores images, I colored them with H2Os, and cut them out.
