i have not started these yet, but hopefully this weekend i'll get rolling on them. i have the ideas in my head! if that counts!

Basketball...done
*I did a paper piecing topper, a journal box, and squares. I used a textured
basketball paper for the squares, but I wanted to leave them plain. To
make up for the 2nd embellishment, I put some basketball ribbon in the
packages that matches the ribbon on the journal box. Is this OK??? I just
figured that the squares and the p.piecing were elements on their own, so
the journal box is extra and the ribbon makes up the 2nd embellishment.
If you think I should add something else to the squares, I can...

I think your sending some great stuff for basketball. Sending something extra to make up embellishing is totally okay.

I did three more sets yesterday I've done something a bit different with some of my photo mats - not sure if it quite counts by the "double mat" guidelines but I like the effect and I've tried it with some photos and it looks good I've done a torn patterned layer over solid cardstock, then in the opposite corner I've made this corner-tie-up doohickey (it probably has a technical term ) I scraplifted from a CTMH catalogue.

I like it anyway - I'll post one tonight, if you think it needs something extra happy for ideas, or I can send some brads or something.

Aren't there two sheets of paper? Patterned & solid. That is double matted. Being torn & tie-up doohickey are embellishments. Sounds good to me.

Picnic - it is kind of two lyrics with the wordle so I threw in a pair of squares - please let me know if this needs more.

Need another element for wrestling but happy with what I have (there is a second layer of paper the same size as the top layer on the journal box, then the blue behind it.)
