I love this page! What is the paper? I think I saw those bling strings at Ms. Where they okay to work with? Did they stay together?

That paper is "Snorkel" by Cosmo Cricket.

Yes - I got them at Ms. They are glued really well together. But my cutter bee made quick work of them. The one Ms had them $2.99 and then 25% off. But another Ms had them on clearance for $0.99. I got them in purple/white, pink/white, pink/green, solid blue, blue/green, and solid clear. I plan on using them on another layout too.

PS- I also got strings in red/white/black that match the crystal Mickey heads. I'll be using those on my ATC.

Ohhh I see some fighting with the gals on this one 123SA. One wants it for C1 and the other for C2... I can see why. It is a great layout, love the colors. What did you use for the journal area? Did you draw the lines in or use a stamp?

I have been hand drawing in the lines. My ruler and calculator have been getting a workout with this swap. I can't just eyeball things. I have been measuring my printout version and multiplying it by 12 divided by 3 10/16 to figure out the size on a 12x12 page. Nuts I know.

I took my sketches, stretched them to 4x4 and used multiples of 3 to get my measurements. They aren't exact, but I don't do eyeball well sometimes either. I took liberties with journaling lines as they aren't exactly the same width or heights in the sketch, but they are in the right locations.

Well........I know mine aren't exact!!!! I did use a ruler on the sketch to get an idea of what size to cut things, but I eyeballed things as well.

These are due in 4 weeks. How is everyone doing with them? I don't have scheduled check in dates, so lets use this week for a recap of where you are in the process.

I have 2 full groups done, 1 group half way done -not happy with it, may redo them, and paper & embellishments pulled for the rest.

I have 4 groups completely finished and 2 more to design. I've pulled the paper for both of those groups, but I may change it for one because when I looked at it again the other day it just didn't seem a good fit anymore.
