COMPLETE Progress Sketch Swap CLOSED

The journal areas are stamped. The swirly areas are stamped also and embossed with distressed embossing powder.

Thanks!

These are harder to do than I expected!:goodvibes But, I've got another group finished!!!!:cool1:

Here's my page for Group A2: The blue strip on the right has buttons embossed on it with a few colored in.

I have that Sizzix embossing folder. :thumbsup2 Never thought to color them.

I like it lots. The colors are very cheerful. :)

Good job! I find that picking a title is the hardest part for me - -especially one that fits in the space.

Susan, great pages. I'm so happy that I get the "You Rock" one. I've already got pictures that will be perfect for it!!!!!!

Those pages look great! I'm going to work on mine today, hopefully! I've been inspired by you!

What great pages. I am not in this one, but I just wanted to comment. I was thinking maybe taking AWM sketch page idea and use it for the Disney ABC completed page swap. What do you think?

I like it. Will take the guess work out of trying to place the elements.

The same sketch for all 26 letters?

:rotfl2:
That would be one continuous book. :rotfl2:

I'm guess a choice of sketches to pick from would be better, unless NemoMom wants to try to find 26 different sketches. Which not impossible, would be a pain to post.

I was thinking that too.

In general I am a fan of sketching, although I am usally working from my own sketch. Working from the posted sketches was challenging for the first two, but I think the rest will be easier. The main benefit to me is I feel like I created a much more beautiful page than I would have otherwise.

I think it could work . It definitely takes care of the defining the requirements. I would make sure that you weren't going to lose swappers over the sketches though.

Hello. that may be me because I'm seeing what you all are doing and I am nowhere that good and it scares me. So someone will have to hold my hand every single step of the way!:scared1:

Using the DCWV or Cosmo Cricket or BasicGrey packs are a great way to make sure your patterns and solids match up. Or using the two sided print/solids works too and they usually have matching pieces.

The hardest part for me will be making the titles generic. I knew that going into this, but I didn't want to limit the uses of the pages by pre-selecting titles you had to use.

Yes, I agree. I have been looking through my cricut carts for title/phrases. The title spots are small which I also find challenging.

Good questions! I could get about 13 sketches and let you route them around, but also for those who are kinda scared to use the sketches to let them keep to the basic rules for our page swaps. Or would that be to complicated for others?

Nope. It could be pick column A - preset sketch or column B - required elements. :)
