Complete Orlando OKW Aug 2012

Hi,
Just interested to see if anyone has booked OKW Aug 2012 and received the Disney booking reference number from Complete Orlando.

I booked ( Deposit placed for 2 week stay at OKW with free dining) on the day the prices were released about a month ago now and was told that it would be several days before they would send out the Disney reference number. Have rang Complete Orlando on several occasions and have been told that they have contacted Disney and are still waiting. The last call to them was a week ago.

It may seem a little impatient, but my deposit is paid and just want to make sure my booking has been passed on to Disney. A little anxious as would hate to loose deposit and booking if Complete Orlando, under present economic climate, were to go under.

Your thoughts appreciated.

They simply cant give you a disney number yet! THis is because disney dont open up the booking computers for the DVC resorts until 11 months before check in.

So dont expect any disney reference number before september. Dont worry about that though, there is plenty availability at OKW for cash guests. Disney owns a fair number of points there and complete orlando have simply pre reserved a chunk of them.

Complete orlando are not really that likely to go under. Its possible but if they have survived this long, their chances are good.

No point getting yourself into a tizzy here. Simply go with the flow and start planning.

I have booked OKW for Oct 2012 and I have my reference. I have been online at Disney UK and can see our booking. I didn't book with Complete Orlando though, so I think that they perhaps book their customers at a later date. I wouldn't worry though, loads of people on here have used Complete Orlando and they have received very good reviews.

I think you might well lose your deposit even if you have the Disney reservation number if CO were to go under before they have paid Disney the full balance for the booking (which they do some weeks before the accommodation dates). This was what I was told when I discussed it with them before booking this year. Disney US is contracting with CO, not with you, so the booking would just go back into the pool of available dates if CO don't pay for it.

Also looking at using Complete Orlando for OKW Aug 2012 as they are about £150 cheaper for us. Feel slightly dubious about why they are cheaper than Disney and also less secure than booking direct, but trying to get price of holiday down. Has anyone used them successfully for a Disney trip?

We have booked with Charter Travel (they worked out cheaper then Complete Orlando and Disney UK). When our booking confirmation arrived it contained a referecne number for the WTC Disney UK site I logged on and I can see our booking, the booking also includes the magical extras that you get when you book direct with Disney.

Hi all,
We are booked with Pillinger Travel for OKW Augst 2012.
Found them to be cheaper as an overall package than anyone else.
This was only done last Friday so still awaiting booking numbers etc.

Exciting isn't it!

Only 14 months or so to go

I booked with Complete Orlando last May, for our August 2011 trip. We received our Disney reference number soon after booking, and all ADR's made - so now very excited. Due to pay the final balance in a few weeks.
Complete Orlando have been excellent on price, and service - plus no credit card fees - so would recommend them - albeit have actually been on holiday yet!

Hi all,
I have just received a reference number from Complete Orlando but at the moment I'm unable to view my booking. I have contacted Complete Orlando and they have told me that they have been made aware that some customers cannot view their booking unless they visit the UK Disney site. They have said they will send a link to this site but I have yet to receive it. I have tried entering via what I believe to be the UK site but still no sucess.

Does anyone who has had sucess via the uk site have the link?

I think when I looked at our booking for this year it was on the US site, as the reservation number is a US one, but I seem to remember you had to access it as something like a group or travel agent booking, since it was made by CO, even though with our name. Might be worth seeing if you can find that option.
