COMPLETE - Disney Surprise Swap Progress

Awe, bummer :upsidedow
Well Kristy, M_M, has an annual pass, so when you get your back, you should give her a buzz & finally meet each other. She is a blast to hang with. Plus, she knows everything about everything there. I hope your house goes soon. Our house was on the market for over a year, then we decided to just deal for now.
We will probably be dealing for another few years the way it's going. But I'm sure if yours is priced right, it will go soon.

We aren't living in it as my husband became a pastor and we are living at a parsonage in the area we were moved too- we are going to try and rent it out and that will loosen up some money if we can't sell it.

I will try and meet up with M_M and maybe you too at some point at Disney or elsewhere.

Rebecca

That sound like a plan. But I have a silly question. What is a parsonage?
:confused3

Well, she is going to take me to her favorite store on Saturday of next week. So if your in need of some shopping, pm us on Friday & we'll give you our numbers. If not, we will catch up a later time.
This new year will be a great one for you & your family. Just keep your mind on the positive & you will make it through this tough time.:flower3:

:confused3

A building owned by the church for the pastor to live in. This one is very nice- it is 2600 square feet - although it has only 2 bedrooms- most of the space is for entertaining- we have a large kitchen, family room, Florida room, dining room, and living room- all interconnected. Also our bedroom is huge- my scrap area is on one side of it. We will be living in parsonages or places choosen by my DH's church from now until DH retires. They generally have certain requirements for a parsonage but it can depend on how old it is.

ok, here is my dumb question for the night and im not sure why i cant wrap my brain around this. maybe because i am too tired. Im getting my stuff together for this swap. woohoo gonna be early….maybe. Im not sure why I am confused:confused3 …haha.

Enough rambling.

I only have to make 1 element from the list per spot.

So say group 3 I make a topper per person
Group Aa I make 2 photo mats, per person
Correct?

Then for the Toppers only group I make 1 topper per person? Yes? No?

For Photo Mats only 2 per person.

I have no clue why I am so confused today. Maybe not enough caffeine, sleep, kids, DH, Stress. So feel free to laugh at me because im sure I will figure this out later tonight. Sometime around 3 am.:goodvibes

Thanks to whoever knocks the cobwebs out of my head. :headache:

Yes. The element quantity should be the same no matter what the name of the group. The only difference would be the Topper Only group-because you can make one topper with words or two toppers without words.

The non element specific groups, you can make any element or combination you like. The element specific groups need that element.

I think the complete freedom is overwhelming the first time after being used to rules, rules, rules. :) If you want to PM or email your prototypes or sketches to me, feel free to. I am a good helper.

See i knew i was overthinking the whole thing. Sheesh. :rolleyes1

You gals are so helpful! :thumbsup2

Yes I do not do so well without rules. thats why my books are so far behind. no one says i have to have them done by a certain date. haha. Well im gonna set a date and stick to it. :rotfl:

I've got my ideas. and I'll share soon as I get some done.

Would it be ok to make an extra element per group? Sometimes I have a good idea for something that goes with whatever i made.

Thanks!! Someday soon my brain wil re-engage and I will be normal again. Heck who am I kidding i still have 17 years of child raising to do./:scared:

Oh ::yes::! Multiple elements are always welcomed! Even in the rule filled swaps. :thumbsup2

Right on :thumbsup2

Maybe I can make a dent in some of the stash. and DH will let me buy more. haha. Just would have to hide all the swaps that come back. Maybe in a scrapbook :confused3

Question for the people in my groups:

3, Aa, B, C

Do any of you need to scrap pics from 2005, 2007 or 2008? I'm scraplifting an ingenious design and it may be dated for those years. as well as using my stash. I have a back up plan if no one needs those years. TIA!! :goodvibes

I am in Group 3. We went to DHS this July, so 2008 would work for me. This sounds very intriguing(sp?).

We were there in 2006 & 2008.
Sounds very interesting!

I'm just in Group B with you, but we were there each of those years, and I still have a trip from '05 and from '08 to scrap! I'm behind!!

That sounds cool!! :thumbsup2

I am in groups 3 and Aa. I can use 2007 and 2008. Can't wait to see what you make!

I am in B and C- I have been in 2005, 2007, and 2008- I generally don't make trip albums- I do albums of each park and event we go to instead. If they can work with general things instead of just date specific albums it will work for me- I will tell when some of the pictures are from as I tell stories within my park albums and such.

Rebecca

Thanks for the information. :thumbsup2

Hopefully everything works out. Maybe i can keep it a secret. :rolleyes1

Rebecca, I am more than happy to make it general for those that havent been at those times. or that dont scrap by trip. :)

I usually buy the dated packs when at the parks but have so much of it left over since not every page needs a year on it, and i have found a great way to use it. :cool1:

I'm in C, and I can use any of those too. We go every year and my scrapping is very dismally behind!

Thanks Ohana, I so know what you mean. only 2005 honeymoon is scrapped. not the wedding though. havent gotten around to that. should put it on my list for 2009. :)

Okay, I've got you beat. My wedding was in 1992. Kids were born in 1993 and 1997. Not scrapped....any of it.
Granted, I only started scrapbooking about 2004 or 2005, but still. I think I have yet to complete a whole book, unless you count the 3 circle journals I did. But then again, I didn't do the majority of those pages! :rotfl:
I'm addicted to swapping though. I have boxes and boxes of swap items that I WILL use one day when I'm not too busy MAKING swap items. It's all so much fun. Sometimes I go through those swap elements from the past and marvel at all the talent from this group! (I only swap on DISboards ;) )
