I need to make sure I have this right so please pardon the stupidity on my part.
For a journeling box, is it actually 3 pieces of paper? Photo mats are 2 and toppers are either 2 or 3 right?

Questions are good. I never mind questions. My 7 year old can ask 400 a day, I'm used to it.

Yes - journal box will be 3 pieces of paper total. Photos mats are minimum of 2, but can be 3. I get carried away a lot and make them 3 layers. The toppers are two and letters or 3 layers blank.

Thanks! Now, what should the dimensions be? I saw on one swap the writting area should be 2x2 but I always thought it was 3x3? So if its 3 layers is ir 2x2, 3x3 and 3.5 or 4?

My swap the writing area is a minimum of 3x3. If you look in the requirements, that is where I have it specified. So if you are doing just a simple square it would go 3x3, 3.25x3.25, 3.5x3.5 I usually make the last layer a rectangle instead so I have room for embellishments. 3.5x5 is what I end up with a lot. You can make your writing area larger than 3x3.

That was my DHS swap with the 2x2 space. I think it is a typo? I don't know what I was thinking. I'll go fix it though. THanks for pointing it out.

Yes, please let us know where the store is. I'm going to visit Mischief_Managed in a couple of weeks & I can swing by on the way to her house. Were gong to THE castle & Epcot. I haven't been to Epcot in at last 15 years. I'm really excited!

The actual exit is 224. I am down at exit 218- but 25 minutes off the exit. When you get off at 224 just head over to the prime outlets and look at the directory for Character Warehouse.

I'm at exit #270, so not that far from you (or the outlet). But unlike you, I'm pretty close to my exit - probably less than 5 miles.

I don't know what the scrapbook stores are like in your area, but there's one in South Tampa (Westshore to be exact), that I LOOOVEEE. It's called The Scrapbook Shoppe. It's so big and nice and laid out really well. She has really good sales throughout the year. Her Black Friday sale was the entire store was 50% off from midnight until 6 AM. I got so much stuff - and got home at 4 AM, after being there at midnight on the dot! She usually has a New Year's Day sale with 50% off too. If you ever end up in my area, let me know and we can meet up!

Let me know when she is having another good sale- maybe we can meet up and go. We are not too far from each other. I was up that way today at the Tampa Scrapbook Expo- not so much to be overwhelming but some really good deals.

I would love to but we let our passes go until we have sold the house. We are heading in on Tuesday the 16th to go to the Christmas Party though. My parents are paying for passes for everyone to go on Dec 23rd to Epcot but then we need to wait until we sell our house to renew our passes.

Well Kristy, M_M, has an annual pass, so when you get your back, you should give her a buzz & finally meet each other. She is a blast to hang with. Plus, she knows everything about everything there. I hope your house goes soon. Our house was on the market for over a year, then we decided to just deal for now.
We will probably be dealing for another few years the way it's going. But I'm sure if yours is priced right, it will go soon.
