My groups look great!!! I am going to PM my info now! I have all of my supplies and my ideas are all sketched out and I'm getting started right away!!!!

For the Character altered letter...I will do King Louie. I was thinking about the L instead of the K. My idea was to do the L and use rub-ons to do the "King" down the side of the it and add an embellishment (sticker or something). What do you think? If you and DIT would rather, I can do it as the K. Just let me know what you prefer.

Nevermind!!! I saw your reply! We keep posting at the same time!! So, I should be ok with the L, unless DIT is not good with it.

I think DIT will be fine with it.. she should be popping back on here shortly.. ok, off to fight w/ the cricut before I start dinner... than a 4-H meeting...than I'm going to put a few groups together that are cut tonight...

Thank you!! I'm furious about that paper.. I mean I was cutting them out one at a time... I adjusted the speed when the first one got snagged.. I changed the blade.... I just called it a night... I'll start again tomorrow after I work at the school while DH is putting the last of the drywall in the entry way so he can paint and put my floor in this weekend!!!

I have a tip for cutting thin paper - -was that the problem?

I put the thin paper on the mat as usual. I took a piece of regular cardstock, put tape around the edges and pressed it on top of the thin paper. Then I cut the cardstock as I normally would. It cut though both papers and the thin paper didn't tear or snag.

I will try that tomorrow Susan..thank you!! OMG! I was getting so frustrated.. DH brought me home 4 more sheets tonight.. I better only have to use 1 sheet to finish that group tomorrow! I'll let you know how it goes!!!

Ok...L it is then!!! I have a lot of work to do. Just made a cup of tea and sitting down at the table with all of my supplies and the cricut!!! Have to get up early with the kids for school in the am, but I'm excited about doing this swap, so I'm sacrificing sleep for swapping fun!! Ahhhhh....who needs sleep anyway?!

Thank you for checking in... I think I'm only missing one swapper from checking in.... so not bad for the first check in...

I need to work at school this morning then come assemble 3 groups I cut yesterday..... and than back to work on some more groups... I'm trying to cut them during the day and assemble at night....

I hope to post photos today of some groups to get some feedback... The family likes them..now need to make sure you all like them!

I've been cutting bunches today.. I hope to get 3 more groups cut this afternoon before the kids get home!!! I want to assemble tonight while they are all gone... PJ is at a track meet and isn't running tonight, and the boys all have soccer.. so I have 2 hours of peace and quiet!!!
