Ugh what a day...

My kids got up at 5am.

I thought DS had a concision by 8am.

I also discovered the dog is sick.

We don't have central air and I am HOT.

Oh yeah.................AND I told the poor girl at Dunkin Donuts, "I love you too." instead of "thank you". Awkward.

Now I get to go babysit a grouchy teething baby with MY two nut jobs and miss the farmer's market I wanted to go to.

Anyone else?

***Yes I know there are bigger issues in the world to complain about, but sometimes you just want to get it out.:goodvibes

You could probably deal with all of it better if you had some AC, I'd give ya a  but It's too hot for that.

I feel for ya!!!

If I was a fly on the wall at home, I am sure I would hear all kinds of complaining from the two teens at home that are currently out mowing in the heat.

All they had to do was, get up YESTERDAY at 7:30 and get started on the neighbors yard by 8, so that they would only have to do our yard today starting at 8. But nooooooo, they both went back to sleep and didn't get up until almost noon. I was a nice guy and told them to leave it be and they would just have to work harder today and get them both done.

While they didn't sleep until noon today, they didn't bother to go out until 10ish. Mom's not being so nice today. They will get it done today, even if they have to take several breaks and mow over the whole day, instead of getting it done in the cooler morning.

Here's my complaint:

Stupid people!!!! Stupid pedestrians that decide to walk in the path of an oncoming car just so they could do the gangnam style dance. I was so mad! :furious: Happened to me yesterday.

Noisy office mates. The idiot in the next cubicle beside me MOANS as he eats his lunch. WHO DOES THAT!?!?!??!

Love this thread btw, "complain here". hahahaa. :lmao:

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: OMG this is hilarious! it took all my strength not to laugh out loud (in my very quiet shared office). :lmao: :lmao:
Yeah she just stared at me and I was all like, "WHAT is her problem?"

Then DD said REALLY loud, "Why did you just tell the lady you loved her too?"

I replayed the conversation in my head and realized she was right.

HOT AS CRAP OUT and I got bronchitis....Ain't nobody got time for that!

That being said sick or not I still have to do my stuff. Errands and chores are done for the day now I am going to go take a nap and if anyone asks me what is for dinner, I will say whatever you make for us is fine.:rolleyes1

DS does. We're hoping he grows out of it.

Now I've lost all hope!:rotfl:

Okay, if I had a Dunkin Doughnuts (or Krispy Kreme) close by, I would be tempted to tell them I love them.

My complaint is that I haven't heard from my supervisor or principal this summer, which means I will still be an itinerate special education teacher instead of having a permanent spot at my school. I will still be sharing a classroom (not too shabby, I love the other SpEd teacher and aide I share with), but I will split my time with another school with a much less supportive administration and back-biting coworkers. Ugh! Otoh, teaching jobs aren't always easy to come by around these parts (and Title 1 funding has been slashed), so I'm very thankful to still have a job.

After a year of having good renters things are a'stirrin, putting us to make some big decisions. :headache:

At least it wasn't a "male" at Dunkin.

Oh I feel for you. We are on our fourth renter in as many years. The last one bailed on us with no notice right before Thanksgiving last year (and DH lost his job at the same time). We're okay now, but it was a tough holiday season and very stressful. Good luck.

Depending on what you got a DD, you could have loved her. I know on really hot days, when I have to work the roving patrol, that I LOVE the girls at McAlister's when they hand me my large lemonade. Really loved the one girl 2 weeks ago, when she told me I could get a free refill anytime I needed it.

We have tickets to a minor league baseball game tonight. I hate going there even when it is cool out, today is upper 90's. Yuck!
Still looking for another child to babysit this school year. I am losing sleep over it.

Ugh my over the wall neighbor is sniveling. OMG dude get a tissue! Like nails on a chalkboard. Working at home tomorrow, nice commute and very casual dress code

I woke up at 3 a.m. to go to the airport to catch my flight. I'm dead tired. I get on the plane and behold, the cramps. The stomach cramps begun. The whole flight. Nonstop. Flight attendants brought me barf bags quite a few times. My ear still hurts from the pressure.

Not. A. Good. Day.

I laughed so hard at 'I love you too.' I hate when my brain just quits and I say something that doesn't fit...

Person: Hi, how are you?
Me: thanks, you too.

What?! Lmao
