Since my wife and I will be there in under two weeks and will be spending nights at PP and DLH...

Any questions?

I've got video, still, and the ability to describe what I see. What does anyone want to know? I'll check when we get there.

I'm thinking of looking at varying features of both and compiling a report in that regard anyway, but if I can direct my energy toward interest, it would likely be more efficient (I'm on vacation, you know).

I can't wait!!!!!!!!

Have you not been to either PPH or DLH before? I like them both for different reasons. PPH is the best on a budget (if there is such a word as 'budget' on Disney property!) and has a nice little coffee bar sort of thing in its lounge, where they make good frozen mochas. DLH, of course, has so many great features like the waterfall and the koi fish pond and the cute bath products in the rooms. They are both good for doses of Disney magic. I think the members of this board who have not been to either of them will really appreciate your taking the time to compile the report and comparing features/amenities. That is a great idea. And that is what is great about this board - so many people have such great knowledge and opinions based on their personal experiences, and that is extremely helpful to other people who are planning trips. Have fun (at both hotels)!

I can't wait to hear! I'm interested in things like ease of parking, fridges, microwaves, coffee pots, and a mirror counter outside the bathroom. :)
