Comparing POP vs. POP

We love POP too; we've stayed there twice, once in the 50's facing the lake and another time in the 70's close to the buses and main bldg. Loved both locations. Stayed at the All Stars once (couldn't get a room at Pop) and did not like it as much. The food court at Pop is better, plus I found it cleaner and prettier, IMO.

We usually stay in deluxe or DVC, but Pop is our favorite for a quick weekend.

I'm a big WL fan, but not all my stays there were great. My first stay, in concierge, wasn't that great for me. I decided to give it another try in a courtyard view, no concierge, and absolutely loved it. We're booked there again for Xmas (at the villas this time). I guess it depends on your mood, expectations, and personality. I don't mind the noise at Pop cuz I have to sleep with ear plugs anyway (DH is a locomotive snorer!).

We stayed at POP last year and overall were pleased although for a value resort prefer Movies.

We stayed in the 80's and it was so cool (I grew up in the 80's.) My 11 yr old daughter just thought it was "old school boring" although my 6 yr old couldn't care less. I think the kids enjoy the Movies better as it seems to be geared towards their taste.

The coolest part about POP is the wall at check-in. They have a timeline of items from each decade and it was really interesting.

Our room was clean and had great service all week. We don't eat at the resort so I have no idea about the food. The bus rides did seem long and I guess due to it being a newer resort the bus stops seemed to be the furthest away at the parks.

Probably would not stay there again all things considered but glad I saw it once.
