NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line NOT Disney but very good. we loved them. :D

This makes me feel great! We leave in less than 5 days, sailing on the NCL Spirit. I've heard great things about this ship's kids' facilities.

:boat:

We've been on 7 Disney cruise.

Bottom line - we absolutely love DCL - but it is way too expensive.

We tried EOS RCCL - okay, not great.

Then, we went on Princess to Alaska - wow - what a ship. We were on the Diamond Princess. As nice as the Magic/Wonder.

Much less expensive.

We are going again this year on the Sapphire. August is prime time for Alaska.

7 day - outside room - 2 adults / 2 kids - $3500 through Costco. That's a lot less than a comparable DCL.

And, the personal choice dining is simply awesome.

The only thing that did not compare was the adult restaurant. Palo remains our favorite restaurant of all time.

As a PS - really check out Costco .They split the commission with you in the price. They are always a good 7% less than anyone else.

My understanding is that it's a good line, upscale, catering to a slightly older and decidely European crowd. They might be part of the Carnival family, but don't quote me on that. cruisecritic.com and other sites might be able to help you out, and a good independent (albeit full-service) TA should be able to steer you towards a line closest to what you want.

Hi,
In answer to your question I have never sailed Costa myself but some of my family members did oon a regular basis. They took at least 2 cruises a year and usually more and they swore by Costa. They said it was great customer service, very clean, and upscale.Never heard bad things.Again I never personaly did but I trust their judgement.Hope this helps. Have a great time whatever you do! :cool1:

I do plan on sailing Disney again when we havemoney but Costa is giving a great deal. We are getting a big verandah room for only 649 a person and the total for both of us is 1400 dollars.totally excited. I have read some bad reviews about Costa but i have to remember its a vacation.

Cant wait to sail Disney (without a hurricane) again@!
