I know some have been frustrated by wait times when calling MS are longer than in the past, but at least you can get through.
Some have posted that since DVC already has our money, they have no incentive to add MS CM's. If that was the case, I would think Ticketing would definitely add CM's since that is new money for Disney.

However my experience over the past few days in attempting to contact ticketing has been either an all circuits are busy message, or when I do get through a message stating wait times are over 2 hours. I then put my phone on speaker, only to get disconnected after over an hour.

ETA: I am trying to change a date specific ticket purchased for an April trip we did not use. The ticketing site says the cost of a wholly unused expired ticket can be applied to a future ticket, so I thought I could do that online, since prior to its first use date, that ticket had a change option in MDE. However, we had not finalized the our next trip, so I waited. A word of warning, once a wholly unused ticket expires it completely disappears from MDE, and can only be applied toward a future ticket by calling ticketing. Luckily I saved the confirmation email. I cannot believe Disney just drops a ticket that has value from MDE. Are they hoping guests will just forget about it?

It will remain there attached to your account so even if gone, they can access.

I would think that there are not that many who buy the tickets and then don’t use, Many cash guest end up with the package so they don’t have to pay for them until closer to the trip.

I am surprised you didn’t get the call back message, I did a few months back and it was great to not have to wait for the 2 hours!

I was able to get through via chat with MS in less than 5 minutes today. Hopefully you are able to sort out your ticket issue soon.

We have tickets for a April 2020 trip that got canceled due to covid, and they expire in September this year, 2022. So we have had them now for over a year, not looking forward to my phone call to Ticketing to make sure they will work for our upcoming stay in August. Luckily they allowed us to make park passes for this stay.

I can tell you that extended tickets from 2020 that were given that additional time work without any issues

We had some from canceled March 2020 trip that worked without any stop at GS or call to ticketing for mid June for the 3 guests who had them.

I got through on chat to the general WDW page and they told me they could not do anything related to tickets, I would have to call ticketing. I also talked with MS by phone to put in room requests for our December trip (only a 30 minute wait). After taking care of that, I asked about changing the ticket and they told me MS can not do anything related to park tickets. MS then said they would transfer me to ticketing, but when they did that, it rang twice and disconnected.

There was no option to request a call back. I do not know if they have totally discontinued that function, or when the wait is over two hours they do not offer it as an option.

My wait was scheduled to be over 2 hours when I got it so maybe when the wait is less, it doesn't kick in? Maybe try again and see if it is an option?

What phone number did you call?
When I have tried to call what I think is the ticketing number, I get a message "all circuits are busy". I have been able to get through on the general number where it askes what are you calling about, and when I say ticketing, I get put into the two hour queue with no callback option, and I end up getting disconnected before anyone answers.

I called this one....

Thanks. I had tried that one before, and just tried it again, and got the message "I'm sorry, all circuits are busy now, please try your call again later"
Frustrating since I am trying to change that 4 day ticket to a 7 day ticket for our Dec. Trip. I do not know of any other business that does not have enough staffing to answer the phone so they can take your money.

ETA: I know these are unique times, but you would think if Disney was going to add resources anywhere it would be in the areas where customers (excuse me, guests) are trying to spend money

Maybe just try the regular number and see if they can transfer you??? I know, frustrating right now.

10 days later update. Both the phone numbers listed above still give us a "We're sorry, all circuits are busy, please try your call again later" Emailed and received an auto reply stating we would receive a response within 5 business days. (still waiting 10 days later)
Absolutely unacceptable customer service. Disney has far to many things that can not be done online, and they are impossible to reach by phone.

ETA: After posting the above, I was able to get into the queue by calling the ticketing number 407-566-4985. There was no callback option, and no indication of expected wait time.
Currently been on hold 2 hours 10 minutes. Never imagined it would be this hard to purchase a company's product.

ETA2: Call answered right at 2.5 hours. Took just a few minutes for Disney to let us spend another $250 on their product.
The CM was great, just frustrating the hold time was so long.
