We are working on our dinner reservations for our next trip. We only get 3 table services meals this trip and DD wants to go back to Coral Reef because she fell in love with the Lobster Soup. I would really like to try something new, thinking of LeCellier because of all the great reviews I read. Can someone tell me how the Cheddar Cheese Soup at LeCellier compares to the Lobster Soup at Coral Reef?

We ate at Coral Reef in December 2007 and loved the lobster bisque. My two year old loves soup and ate the whole bowl by herself. My older child also enjoyed the soup and I will have to say it was very good. This December 2008we ate at LeCellier. The cheese soup was very good, but in my opinion not as good as the soup at Coral Reef. My youngest that loved the soup from Coral Reef did not eat it at all. My older child did like it with the pretzel breadsticks. Hope this helps, I know everyone has different taste.:confused3
We plan to return to the Coral Reef next year and skip LeCellier. We just enjoyed our meal better at Coral Reef.

Have a good trip!:)

I really enjoy the Cheddar Cheese Soup much better than the Lobster Soup. We did LeCellier for the first time in November and have fallen in love with it. We enjoyed Coral Reef as well, but the last time we went it was not as good as in past years.

It has been a long time since I had the soup at Le Cellier, but the lobster bisque I had at Coral Reef in December 2006 was awesome. My wife and I both really loved it and plan to return and have some more on our trip in April. As far as the meal itself goes, I enjoy both places very much, but if I had to go based only on the soup alone it is hands down, for me at least, the Coral Reef!

prefer the cheddar cheese soup at le cellier - maybe it's the addition of the pretzel bread that makes it better! - found the lobster bisque at coral reef a bit watery last trip
