Compare Cypress Harbour to Cypress Palms?

We are currently booked at Cypress Palms with an unheard of low rate; however, an opportunity has come up to get Marriotts Cypress Harbour. It will cost me about 400 more to spend our week there, though. The resort looks phenomenal and seems to have more amenities than Cypress Palms. Has anyone been to both and would you be able to provide me some feedback? Is it worth this? In the grand scheme of things, the difference wouldn't be huge to us IF Harbour is a significant upgrade over Palms. Thanks!

If those two I only know the Marriott resort and it's my family's favorite Orlando area resort (so far). But I have stayed at Wyndham timeshare properties elsewhere and I think that they stack up well with the Marriotts - particularly the Wyndhams that used to be Fairfield resorts, which I think Cypress Palms once was.

I like the SeaWorld neighborhood location of Cypress Harbour better than that of Cypress Palms (off SR 192 near Poinciana Blvd.) but both resorts are pretty convenient to Disney. I'm not sure when the Wyndham was last refurbished (Marriott's Cypress Harbour was refurbed in the past three or so years) so I'm not sure how up to date the villas are.

If I were exchanging a timeshare week (or points) and both were available I'd take the Marriott but with a $400 difference in cost I'd keep the money in my pocket, go with Cypress Palms and most likely be happy with the resort as long as the CP villa is a two-bedroom unit. [If the cost was $400 more for Cypress Harbour and the other choice was a resort like Celebrity Resort or Fantasy World Villas in the same general part of Kissimmee I'd spend the extra $400 and take the Marriott.]

If you are referring to the Wyndham Cypress Palms, I would take the MArriott's Cypress Harbor. We have stayed both places and are Wyndham owners. We would only stay at Cypress Palms if it were our only choice. It is older and not very nice. There isn't much to do either.

Yes, thats the place. I got what I thought was a phenomenal rate throught govt employees travelop, a discount club. I was hoping that with the new refurbishments, it would suffice. However, we are Marriott platinum members and are used to Marriott quality when we do vacation.

Marriott's Cypress Harbor is a fantastic resort. Just the right size, something for everyone, and beautiful. I would recommend it.
