Compare a standard studio at AKV with a 2 bed room at FQ

Hello again,
sorry for all the latest questions.
The only other time that we stayed in DW was in April and we stayed in a 2 bed room at the FQ.
For the people that have stayed in a moderate before, how are the rooms different, comparing it to a standard studio at AKV, just so I can have an idea.

I assume you mean a room with 2 beds at French Quarter? Those eould be 2 double beds.

A studio at AKV would have a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa. Kitchenette with a sink, toaster, microwave, small refrigerator, coffeemaker.

It really depends on how many people you have and if they would be comfortable on the sleeper sofa.

Yes,
we had two double beds.My son will sleep in the sofa as my DD will end up in bed with us anyway as she does not like to sleep by herself in strange places. Oh well!
I will be dead tire anyway from all the walking!

IMO, studio rooms in the Villas are much roomier than the moderate resort rooms. Plus, you have the kitchenette and easy access to a washer/dryer.

They will also seem much bigger during the day because you can fold the sofa bed up.

great, we need all the space that we can get, not that we are going to stay in the room all day but anyway.

Most important difference is a Q/D AKV vs a D/D at POFQ...I need the bigger bed because I am used to a king sized bed. Kids are fine on a double bed sleeper.

I'd say any of the DVC rooms are superior in quality to any moderate or value room and many are right on par with Deluxe rooms (which makes sense considering where many of the villas are). The other advantage is that transportation seems to be better than at a value or moderate in my experiences.

that's good to hear. I think that just to have a microwave available makes a great difference.
