Comparable ships to the Magic & Wonder?

Can someone who has cruised on the other lines please tell me which ships are comparable to the Magic & Wonder? We're thinking about trying another cruise line sometime.

I've cruised on three other cruise lines and through a travel agent friend heard about several others. I think some depends on your personal style, but heres my humble opinion:

1) RCCL -- great line, but make sure you are on a newer ship as the older ones are nowhere near as grand as the Wonder & Magic. Best food and dining service of any line I've been on. Okay staterooms, but Disney's are better.

2) Holland America -- beautiful ships, but a little "stodgy" for my taste. Entertainment left alot to be desired, but we were on an Alaska cruise -- so the scenery itself was entertainment. We were upgraded to a suite, which was fabulous, but I can't give any comparison on the normal cabins as a result.

3) Norwegian -- Did not care for this line at all, particularly found the service and entertainment substandard.

4) Carnival -- I would never even try it personally. My travel agent friend did and said she would never again -- too much of a party crowd for her, and too "basic."

We have sailed on carnival twice and loved both cruises. 1st was a 4 day, and second was a 7 day. on the seven day we had a verandra and loved it. they have alot of fun games and also have karioke, & nice broadway type shows. they had comediens, doing a day time version for families and night time for adults. there was the newlywed not so newlywed game. jugglers, singers, etc. plenty to do without having to party. loved having morning coffee on the veranda, or just sitting and enjoying each others company watching the moon light on the ocean.
