Actually, I'm serious about that...I'm upset because I just found out I can't try the slide ON the cruise, and it looks like fun! *sigh*

I don't agree. For many (including me), the ability to walk to two major parks far outweighs the ability to park outside your condo. It's location, location, location! As tempted as I may be to give OKW a try, I always end up at BWV. Just can't bring myself to give up that prime location! As long as we don't have to use the living room for sleeping (and I insist that we don't, LOL), the BWV rooms are plenty big enough!

IMHO, the days of the pool hopping perk are limited. DVC is just growing too large to allow it to continue indefinitley. The end is now in sight. I for one will be glad to see it go. I think those who are staying at a particular resort should be able to enjoy the benefits of an uncrowded pool. (Guess I'm not very good at sharing, LOL).

Anyway, I don't think a slide will make OKW any harder to get at 7 months than it is right now (without a slide).

I agree 100% with every word you wrote, except for the part about trying OKW, because I have tried OKW on several occasions in various villa sizes/building locations and at various times of the year and with various traveling groups. We also will use our sofabed at BWV.

I agree. A slide might help, but OKW will need to add additional amenities in order to increase the demand for the resort, perhaps room service, and some other things. I think the preference you cite is demonstrated in the ability to get reservations. But I do think a slide helps, and I'm glad to see the improvement for the older OKW resort, especially for the kids.
