Community Laundry at the BWV?

Hi guys...we're staying at BWV at the end of the month in a studio, and I was wondering if you could tell me about the laundry facilities available. I know the villas have washer/dryers in-room, but alas, the studios do not Could you tell me where I'll find them and maybe how much they cost to operate?! Thanks!

Not sure of exact location, but know there is a laundry. Sorry, when we stayed there we had a 2 bdroom. OKW has there laundries at the quiet pools..if that helps..Someone should have the exact location for you at BWV.

I'm in the same situation as you! I was told that the laundry for the villas is by the health club area. It's probably about 1 1/2 mile walk from my room!!!

We had a studio at BWV on our last visit and I did use the facilities there. If you are staying in a villa the laundry is FREE!!!!!
When I stayed at the BWI I also did laundry and I believe it was $2 per wash. The area at the BWV to do wash is on the first floornext to mustles & bustles. There was no way to put money in the machines, you just washed like normal. They did have detergants and such to buy in there. Also sold some in the gift store in the lobby. I did have a long walk. I just put the clothes in a suitcase that had wheels. I did leave the area and went back to check on the clothes. There were a bunch of machines, a table, chairs and a TV in the room. Hope this helps!!

That's great news I think I'll still probably pack some laundry detergent to avoid that cost, but that's so cool that the facilities are free! We've actually requested a room right above there too, so it might not be too long of a walk afterall (knowing it's a longshot to get our room request!)...

I'm actually excited to do laundry on my vacation!? weird...lol!

Bring your own laundry tabs. That will save you a ton of $$$. When we stayed in a studio I had to use the laundry facility. The dryers did not work well so you were drying your clothes for much longer than usual. Also 4 out of 5 days the one washer was broken. So get there early. It worked out ok but if we ever stay in a studio again I will request a room on the bottom floor.
