Community Drive being renamed

I don't think this has been posted yet.

Last week while at SSR I noticed on the resort map that you get at checkin that the main cross road (Community Drive) was labeled Disney Vacation Club Drive.

So while checking into OKW this morning I had a chance to speak with a manager and she confirmed that Community Drive was indeed being renamed.

For those unfamiliar, Community Dr. goes between Bonnet Creek parkway and Buena Vista Dr. The entrances to both OKW and now to SSR will be off of the newly named <i>Disney Vacation Club Drive</i>.

The maps you get at OKW upon checkin have not yet been changed.

They announced this on the final day of the Homecoming. I think it was Randy Garfield who made the announcement. (My brain was frying in the sun so I'm not sure who said it.)

They definitely announced it at the SSR Homecoming but I don't remember who said it either. Annmarie
