OK, here we are, week 1. I am going to be working on eating more veggies and drinking my water this week. This is something that I really need to focus on. I am going to be working on my exercising with the 1,000 min. challenge for January and my weight loss with the Lose 5 in January, but I really need to work on getting more water in my body and veggies too.

Let's start the week off right and we can all work on our goals together. :cheer2:

tammy -- i'm here - Day TWO for me -- i just posted on last week's thread, sorry -- i just WI and have 9 lbs to lose to hit goal again. My plan is 4 in Jan and 5 in Feb -- please send PD and the Whoosh Fairy!

my commitment is water, staying within my WW points and exercising 5 days a week. I have one down for this week yesterday

Okay today is my start over day. I'm committing to not eating any sweets and not have any fast food this week.

I am committing to working out 4 times this week, drinking my water, and making low carb sweets to have in the house.

~Amanda

Alright, here are my plans for this week.......more water, NO regular coke, and at least 30 mins of walking with my kids each day. It is cold here today (for Florida) and the cold air is good for DSs croup, so there is an extra incentive for me to go out today and take that walk!!

After I hit submit I am going to get a glass of water!
Christy

Here are my plans for the week, since I am trying to ease back into the TM I am going to try for 4 days for now.

64 oz. water daily, minimum
stay on eating plan
treadmill 4 days a week/30 minutes
NO SODAS

Good luck to all!

Hi to all

Made it through last night without eating after 7:30.......YEAH :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Goals for the week

No eating after 7:30
PORTION CONTROL, PORTION CONTROL!!
Exercise more - at least 30 minutes each day.

Going for the Goal!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Have a magical Disney Day!! :earboy2:

Ok...I'm committing to cutting down on caffeine by drinking more water, staying on workout plan and not snacking after 8pm (bad nummies, bad nummies... )

Tiggerkeeper,

I shiver a little every time I see your sig. We don't say "Hunker Down" in FL anymore unless there's plywood on the windows ;)

Thanks for starting this thread Tammy!

I am committing myself to:
--drink at least 64 oz water each day & no juice or soda
--exercise regularly
--get a decent night's rest (at least 7 hours)
--stay off the scale until Sat
--no eating after 7 pm

GL to all! Christy I hope your DS gets better real soon! :flower1:

I'm committing to:

Staying OP
6 day of exercise this week
Drinking 8 glasses of water everyday
Adding some type of extra veggies each day
Take my vitamin each day (bad habit of not doing this)
Trying to get 3 servings of calcium a day (Thanks to AlreadyExcitedGrammy for reminding me how important it is to do this)

So far- I've been OP all day, had my vitamin, had a baggie of carrots for snack this afternoon and had 2.5 glasses of water.

I need to exercise, drink a LOT more water and get my 3 servings of calcium in.

I'm here! :wave2:

I'm committed to:
  • drink more water at school
  • get to Curves at least once
  • to get my math prepared in the morning (that can count, can't it? It's my downfall at school. )
  • and to record on Fitday

Two days down, good to go. (didn't get to Curves because of a snowstorm, but I WILL!)

I'm here........... I missed the original thread but I am having a tough time so far.
This week, I will not eat sweets the bad ones anyway.
I have some atkins ice cream bars, that will be my only sweet (when does this week end? lol) beside that, I will get to the gym this week at least 3 times!

great thread!

Chimera, I certainly understand your shiver so in your honor I change the chant to SIC'EM. Even then it might make some Florida Gator fans shiver! LOL!

So far so good -

Staying OP (trying for 20 pts a day)
journaling
no eating after 7:00 PM
no alcohol
Exercising on treadmill and doing some strength training too!

Everyone is doing good, we should all be proud of ourselves for making a commitment to do something different. I have drank my water today and actually have a glass beside me right now. I did 20 min. of floor exercises and I ate vegetable soup (homemade) for lunch today so I added some veggies in. I did go to the store and have fresh ones for tomorrow. Keep up the hard work!!

Yesterday was mostly successful-

I stayed OP
I exercised
took my vitamin
had some veggies
took my vitamin
had 3 servings of calcium
Water - I got 6 in. I couldn't get all 8 in, but six isn't too bad

For today - again the following

I am just finished 20 min on the TM this morning. I have already had 2 glasses of water and taken my vitamins. I have fresh carrots and celery in the refrig. to snack on today. Keep up the great work everyone!!

Yesterday was 3-star day (3 because I have 3 challenges daily). Staying on plan and getting in the water was easy but I even got on the treadmill which has been a pain for me! I am hoping today will be a good day too. I am trying to focus on the daily and not get lost in the long term journey.

Get up and move! You can do it!

This body is under new managment!!

LOL...Thanks! You didn't have to change it just for me! I guess I shouldn't mention that I'm a Gator, too ;) ...and a Melissa :flower1:

I did ok yesterday. Didn't eat after 8pm (that's a biggie!), did 2 miles on treadmill, but only drank a bit more water and less caffeine. Some days are just Diet Pepsi days! :bitelip:
