Comments on Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

I was just wondering about Mickey's Backyard BBQ. How is it? What can I expect? I would perfer HDDR, but I am traveling with a boy who only likes hot dogs and spaghetti .

It was not one of our favorite activities. We went in May of 2003 and it was a really, really, really hot night. While the food was good, the entertainment was excellent, the character interaction okay, it was just too hot under the awning. We left about 1/2 hour early.

Now, we have done the HDDR three times and have always enjoyed it. Last year, I asked the waitress to bring my son a hotdog because I knew he was not going to eat the chicken and/or ribs.

So, they were able to provide you with a hot dog? This would change everything for me if I knew that we could get a hot dog for DS. Thanks!

Yes....as soon as we met our waitress, I asked her to bring our son a hot dog instead of the chicken and ribs. She was more than happy to do it. I knew it was possible from reading these boards!!!

Depending on how old your son is, he would probably prefer HDDR anyway. I know my children do. They turned 6 & 7 during our last trip.
