Comments on AKL conceirge offerings needed!

What did you think of the offerings? CM just told me there is a continental breakfast, afternoon snacks (cookies?), around 5pm there is wine and cheese and other appetizers, and in the evening there are cordials and desserts.

Does this sound like what you experienced?

Breakfast is cold cereal and oatmeal packets, breads and bagels, etc., muffins, danish, etc. yogurt, fresh fruit. Coffee, tea, they have an expresso/cappicino machine, water, various juices including a delicious blend.

Mid day Goldfish, gummy worms, not really anything more than a simple handful of "snack".

Later in the day they have tea with scones.

Before dinner cheese, crackers, fresh fruit, and usually one hot appetizer from Boma or Jiko. Wine and beer are served.

After dinner various desesrts, yummy, and cordials.

Water (not individual bottles), milk, soda, juice, coffee/tea are available all day, and fresh fruit is generally out all the time as well.

Thanks again Anne! I've changed our ressies to the one bedroom at AKL. I am really happy to be going back. And I can pacify DH with the munches and desserts!

I just wanted to add that while we were there in October, they also had uncrustable sandwiches. We have two little boys, so the sandwiches and the chicken nuggets/tenders every night were great. We never had to buy the boys lunch or dinner if we were eating at the resort. We thought that the lounge had a good selection of "grazing" food throughout the day. We loved AKL concierge so much that we added 2 nights there on our upcoming trip!

Please add to the offerings what I call "cinnamon crisps" in the afternoon. They turn into "salty crisps" for the evening offerings. One of my favorite things with a glass of iced tea.
