Anyone stayed here recently? i'd like any comments you have about it.
Thanks in advance for all your advice.

My DH and I stayed there this past April. I would not stay again.

The hotel has exterior hallways and they are very loud and echoey.

The pool area although beautiful is kind of gross I watched a pool maintenance guy dump chemicals into the pool and hot tub one morning without measuring. The pool is open 24 hours but was very busy at all hours and since the rooms go around the pool area the noise travels down the hallways. There is a bar by the pool that is very pricey $10 for a cocktail...

The bed was very comfortable and had nice squishy white duvets. The bathroom was tiny and the showerhead very low and water pressure terrible. Also getting scalded by hot water 7 mornings in a row left a lot to be desired. When I notified the front desk I was told they were having boiler problems.... The rooms although they look nice are kind of IMO dingy. The hotel has been updated but it's all superficial. There was mold and lots of moisture in the washroom, and the carpets looks permanently dirty.

The walk to Disney wasn't too bad 10 minutes for DH and I (it would take way longer with children in tow), there is ART available but we never used it, by the time it came you could already be there.

Don't think that just because the Menage is on the otherside of the I5 that there will be any less children there aren't, still lots of families just like every other hotel around.

I didn't hear any traffic from the I5 but I did hear lots and lots of noise from everywhere else.

A couple other things, they charge you per day for parking (not that unusual in the area), there is a Starbucks across the street, and the fireworks are brutal if you're at the hotel at the time, it sounds like the hotel is being bombed from the noise echoing up and down the halls.

This was only my experience so I would check out Trip Advisor to see what others have to say.

Good Luck in your search.

I stayed their with two girlfriends in September. Fantasmic wasnt showing then, so I cant vouge for the firework noise, but the freeway noise was like a constant humming sound (we were on the end of the third floor right next to it). The staff was okay but the housekeeping was horrible when we were there. We had used the mugs and asked for new ones to be brought up twice before the person finally came 1 hr later. We had to ask for new ones because the ones we had used before werent replaced.. the housekeeper just put the little doily things over the tops of the used ones...

Anyway, the bed was extremely comfortable and the plasma screen was nice, however in the bathroom the toilet paper dispenser had fallen off the wall and the ceiling had mold on it (gross!) since there wasnt a fan. Not good.

The last night we were there, there was a mini fashion show in the pool area. We were not made aware of this and as paying customers we expected to have use of the pool that we were PAYING to use. Not the case. The people putting on the fashion show shooed us out very rudely and the front desk people just shrugged it off.

In the restaurant, when I asked for a box for my dinner, the girl came and picked up my plate, then another guy came and asked if my friends wanted boxes and we said no, so when the girl came back with our check and without our box she said she threw it away when the guy came and asked about other boxes and we replied no, thinking we told him we didnt want the box we had originally asked for... right.

I wouldnt stay there again.
