From time to time, I've read on this board that some people have been dissatisfied with their contacts with Member Services. Well, very late in September, I decided to try to book an 8 day vacation during the Christmas/New Year period. Of course, considering that this is the busiest time of the year, everything was already booked, so I went on to the wait list. Being a nervous person, during the last month I have called Member Services nearly every day to check on my wait list status, and I've had an excellent experience dealing with each person I've spoken to. I've been a member since before Boardwalk opened, and the people who work for Member Services are just as friendly and helpful now as they were ten years ago. Since I became a DVC member, membership has more than quadrupled, yet in my opinion, the service provided by the Disney Vacation Club has remained excellent. This is not to say that I have not had occasional problems, and from time to time, I've been vocal with my complaints. However, overall, DVC has provided a great vacation experience for my family. By the way, the wait list has come through for us for all 8 nights . . . so two months and counting!
