Here's the plan, me, a 41 y-o Disney fanatic and 41 y-o DH who I amazed has agreed to this trip. Last time he went was 1999. I've been once or twice every year since 99.

Main goal: Have a nice time and not stress DH out. This means no crowds and not too commando. Let me know what you think.

Sat. 1/21, arrival late pm/early eve. Just hang out, eat at O'Hana's.
Sun. 1/22 AK in a.m. Hop to Disney Studios.
Mon. 1/23 MK all day.
Tues. 1/24 No Park day.
Wed. 1/25 Epcot all day.
Thurs. 1/26 No park day.
Fri. 1/27 Back to MK and/or anything else we missed.
Sat. 1/28 Leave/Back to Reality.

Looks good. I'll be there the same exact days as you. I know DH needs 1 or 2 non-park days for a week long trip. If your DH likes Disney but doesn't LOVE it, then they are usually a good way to not overwhelm them.

I have the hours, I need to sit down and seriously think about what we are doing when and then make some ADR's. I know one of our off days is Sunday. My parents are joining us for the first 5 days. We arrive at 9am Saturday, and they decided to take the last flight of the day so the won't arrive until around midnight. Well, there's no way I'm going to get everyone up and going first thing to go to the parks. I think I'm going to try and book 1900 Park Fare for the evening. If you can't go the parks a character meal is always another good choice.

Just made the ADRs. First nite, O'Hana's. Second day, Mama Melrose (Prime Time is being refurbished that day).Next, Liberty Tree, Next, Boma, then next day Biergarten and Le Cellier, then next no Park day, Artist Pint, and nothing else re ADRs.

On one off day I want to hit Beaches and Cream for lunch.

Disney Anna - I will be in WDW the same time as you! My current plan is similar too...

Sat. 1/21 - arrive, Spa treatment, dinner at Cali Grill
Sun. 1/22 - AK in am, EPCOT in evening, Le Cellier
Mon. 1/23 - MK all day, Afternoon Tea at GF
Tues. 1/24 - MK, dinner at Liberty Tavern
Wed. 1/25 - late EPCOT or day off - dinner Marrakesh
Thur. 1/26 - MGM, EPCOT for Dinner - Teppanyaki
Fri. 1/27 - whatever - drive to family in Ft. Lauderdale!

Sounds like we are on the right track with planning! Maybe we will run into each other at MK!

aww, tara, no evening studios? Fantasmic will miss you :) hehe j/k

It is funny, because orginally I wasn't even going to go to the Studios at all! :rolleyes1 BUT, I remember how much I loved  ToT! So, I am making a brief trip there.

I was just at WDW last February/March and saw Fantasmic then. I think that I am still tramautized. :guilty: Not by the show, but by the horrible weather we had that day!! It had rained all day, was about 45 degrees and I was miserable. I know I will be back and will catch it another time...it gives me another reason to come back

Oooh, I forgot about Teppanyaki. I love eating there. I might have to trek back to Epcot one more time. Where there's a will there's a way.

I'm also thinking about adding a spa treatment. I think that would be fun.

BTW, has anyone ever hung out at Celebration? I was thinking of going there on a non-park day.
